Stayed at this hotel due to other family staying there and was pleasantly surprised at the price for an uptown hotel. Great uptown location. Try The King’s Kitchen across the street, a great restaurant with a mission. Parking is valet only but there are plenty of other options close by if you want to save some money and park yourself. Room and bathroom were clean and updated. No tub in ours but that was fine by us. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.

The site seems to indicate a living room area or sofa bed in the rooms. This is not the case. We asked for two double beds and a sofa for three adults and one child. We got a king bed only. I tried to correct this through Hotels.com, but could only make the change by directly contacting the hotel. There is also a charge for parking. Every request must be checked in the beginning or the guest will be unpleasantly surprised. By a small way of compensation, the beds were very comfortable.

The online pictures suggest the rooms have a sofa area, but our room had only two full beds and a desk. Parking was an additional charge. More than two adults is an additional charge. Even though the hotels.com agent assured me she had changed our room from a king bed to two doubles and a sofa for three adults and one child, when I called the hotel directly it still had us listed for a king bed. It seems unlikely that a married couple would share their bed with an adult child, but this is what the website and the hotel assumed. The beds were, however, extremely comfortable. Our child, although 14, had to sleep with an adult.
