2.5 Star Hotel…Do Not Book Here, You Will Be Disappointed!
EMPLOYEES WHO OFFERED 5-STAR SERVICE…
Jay’Sean was welcoming, professional, and set the standard for the hospitality all guests deserve, if he is not a manager or lead he should be. Our room was unfortunately not clean so I called down to guest services and he immediately changed our room, bought the key cards, and chocolates.
I would also like to highlight other individuals who offered 5-star service in their respective roles, Chris, Nastajja, Alex (Mr.Bowtie), Yasmine, Mehr, and the young lady who welcomed guests at the pool on 6/22. Thank you all for making our stay better.
NOTHING IS LUXURY OR 4-STAR ABOUT THE OMNI-CHARLOTTE
-The rooms are at least 20yrs outdated nothing in the rooms are automated. Iron leaks and steamers have mold.
-The Wi-Fi speeds run like they are operating from a dial-up service. There is no business center available, unable to print out documents if needed.
-Can see water stain structural damage in room 1223 bathroom ceiling.
-No airport shuttle. Transportation services offered by hotel staff charged me double the amount to get to the airport. Transportation did not stop at my required airline.
ROOFTOP POOL IS A SCAM
-Pool is on 2nd Floor, not at all a rooftop pool. It should be considered a kiddie pool based on its size which isn’t adequate for the amount of quests.
Lastly, I was profiled, discriminated against, and denied service by Zach at the Lobby Bar/Restaurant on 6/22.

For the price, it was terrible. Took 3-4 hours just to get room service. Upon arrival, the streets were blocked off, preventing my family and I to park into the hotel. Any time we requested room service or any type of service, it took employees hours just to get back to us after calling and calling again. Additionally, they did not provide any military discounts when asked.

Everything was spectacular. From the moment you pull in to their entrance til you step foot off the property to leave . Every interaction I had with a staff member made me feel and treated me as I was family (the welcoming kind). lol my boyfriend and I love coming to Charlotte and when we do , we always stay at the Omni .
I’m ready for the summer time to enjoy the pool and rooftop bar .

All staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. All requests were accommodated immediately. The front desk coordinated a sympathy card with a couple of hot chocolate plus mugs when told of a recent death in our family. This hotel went above and beyond.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool was a nice little get away spot for me, my husband and my kids. The valet is only offered for 1 car per room. If more than that, the other cars have to find their own parking. The valet had a map and was able to telll us where good parking was close by. If you park in the BB and T parking deck, "the catwalk connected to the hotel". Carch is, its not open on weekends...anyway, overall was a great stay.

The pool area was amazing. Especially at night. They even had cornhole and a large Jenga set for the kids.

YES,Yes and yessssss , THE HOTEL IS GORGEOUS with an amazing staff Ponder,Marcus,Amanda,John and Reggie from Valet to Breakfast server they baby us up it’s was the little things like making sure I had extra sugar with my coffee every morning during breakfast. Sweetie my little dog felt so fabulous there too, the give complimentary treats for the guests on the way out on Sunday morning like pastries and infused fruit water. So nice we love it and will be back.

Their was no hot water. The staff was rude. Couldn't get to pool to many drunk people sitting around it with feet in kids couldn't even swim. No microwave in rooms. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone
