The Dunhill Hotel

We had reservations at the Dunhill in Charlotte, NC. This was a stay I had planned for my wife and I as we were going to a small concert, and had childcare taken care of so we had the evening to ourselves. When we got in, there were already two people at the front that had been there for awhile and the person at the desk, although apologetic, did not know how to get anyone a room, find a reservation, or solve a simple issue as to just getting a room for the two people that had been waiting over an hour. She did try to call her supervisor Alex to get logged in correctly and he did not answer. Another person that was there named Kevin was not any smarter, as he just told one of the two people that I will just refund your room which the customer did not want as he had been waiting and wanted some kind of room. We waited at least 30 mins to be helped by someone other than the trainee that was there. We were going to miss our concert so we could not wait until someone was smart enough to figure it out. We went to the concert and decided not to come back And wait another hour for somebody to know how to get a person a room which I feel is simple. Highly disappointed in the service and lack of computer skills. One of the two gentleman waiting in front of us was given a room earlier that was occupied, and the water I had heard was very muddy and murky looking. Do not stay at this hotel.
