Hampton Inn Charlotte-Uptown

my family and I reserved 5 rooms in the hotel and my room supposed has a microwave but did not and it was the only room did not has a microwave and when I asked the front desk about it he told me to use the microwave in the breakfast area which was not convenient to go down to the lobby whenever I need to use the microwave.

I loved the staff! The kitchen staff was so friendly it felt like they where family

When I reserved, I called to validate that I was getting two queen beds, but because of the family composition, I would like an additional bed since we were four people. They told me that was possible and when I checked in I requested the bed and they told me they don't do that.

Room was given away not only that, there was no parking and the pool was closed and so my children didn't have anything to do.

Went to a concert and this location was perfect to walk too. Only complaint is parking is a disaster… 2 grown adults cussing me and my child out over a parking place is a little much.

Good stay. No hot tub as stated. The restaurant is in the hotel next door and it took us until our last night to figure that out. Pool is COLD and air conditioning was on so it was unusable for my kids. Otherwise it was clean, and breakfast was fantastic.

Checkin process was quick and easy, staff was very helpful, it’s conveniently located in Uptown area and there were walkable distance multiple city amusement areas for kids (NASCAR museum, discovery science place for kids, train station). Overall stay was very pleasant.

We chose this hotel because there was an indoor pool. We were going there for Christmas night and wanted our three children to be able to enjoy the pool. When we got there we found out the pool was closed so we decided to check out. There was no apology or offer of a partial refund or anything.

Our stay was great and the area was amazing. The front desk was very helpful and nice. Housekeeping was very nice and welcoming as well. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of options to choose from. However the parking was terrible even after paying the $25.00 parking fee you arent guaranteed a parking space. Our family came in from a night out and there was no where for us to park. We had to end up parking in a parking lot across the street and had to pay an additional $15.50 for only 10hrs. The water pressure is very loud and when the room next door turned on their shower it sounded like someone was drilling through the wall, however after the 1st time we no longer heard it. There was no microwave in the room and the beds seemed smaller than the average queen size bed. The chlorine in the pool was way to strong. All and all the trip was amazing i would stay at this hotel again, i would just choose a suite for the next visit.
