For many many years I’ve had the Westin at the top of my list of places that I thought were so cool to stay at, we finally pulled the trigger and booked a staycation away from the kids and had a date night there. It was fine , I wasn’t blown away. Decor was boring , hotel is very small , no amenities, expensive parking. After the $200 price tag for actual room, you have to also consider the $35 parking as well as the $100 hold. Once we got there we realized the hotel was more for business travel than couples hot spot. It’s off my list and it was fine , I wouldn’t say great even the $5 coffee was just kinda like this why these hotel chains are monsters in their industry. Regular people like us are not their target demographic however I can now say “ I’ve stayed at the Westin “and that was my ultimate goal.
