Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown, NC

Very nice hotel-spacious,clean convenient to downtown attractions.The room had a nice mini kitchenette with a good size refrigerator. People at the desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. We took a special liking to RiRi. The only thing we didn't like was the parking situation.The parking was close by but you had to take the elevator down and then take a different elevator up to the parking deck. We managed it all right but it would be more difficult for elderly or handicapped or families with children. As much as we liked the hotel I am not sure if we would stay again because of the parking situation.

The hotel is nice. The beds were comfortable, the pillows not so much. The guy who checked us in was really nice. Only things that that were not so good was the bathroom had used tissues full of makeup stuck back in the box of tissues. We have a special needs child and he woke up a little late. We asked for an extra hour so he could do his breathing treatments and they wouldn’t allow us the extra time. We left the hotel without him doing his treatments.

Park on the third level of the garage and the hotel will validate your parking. Just follow the signs. Great staff. Great pool for the kids. Room was excellent for our extended stay during the convention.

Very convenient for a family stay

Great room. Great location. Easy parking. Watched a great college championship baseball game. Great shopping too! Only con was a family with kids on our floor was very loud late at night and early in the morning. Maybe have a few quiet floors for guests who look forward to low/no noise during getaways.

Long time Hilton customer, but first time staying in a Home2Suites brand. The room type we booked was over sold and not available when we checked in, which was the only reason we chose the property. This forced a family of four to split into two non- adjoining rooms. Check in was slow because of the new system they are using for check ins. Hotel was clean. Beds, linens and pillows not as comfortable as what i am accustomed to in Hilton branded properties. They stopped putting out breakfast at 9:20 and when we arrived for breakfast there was nothing available to eat.
