Golden Sands Oceanfront Hotel

The hotel was very clean and family friendly, loved the ocean front view and only having just steps from the beach, the location was awesome close to the boardwalk and shopping, also because I have arthritis loved having a walk in shower and a very comfortable bed, my family and I are looking forward to spending another vacation at this hotel.

No maid service unless you request it. Fridge was not cold. Beds were somewhat comfortable. If you are talking kids you need to upgrade to a bigger room. Very small walkway between the bed and the dresser.

The bath room door inside and out was dirty, hair in the bathroom. Plus tye amount of sand that was left in the room and the floor wasn't clean either left me to do a complete wipe down to see what else was dirty. Surfaces was clean but they gots to do more to keep sand out of the room for the next guest. As well as to the amount of $ they taking in to not offer something for breakfast just unheard of and just being greedy. Great location and to make a second car platform parking when you already making $ for public parking is another show of just how greedy the new owners are. They better finish the upgrades too for rails are peeling and looking weathered don't mix with the other areas they have redone. The indoor pool area was smelly so forget about even going in. The staff was excellent and that helped with they less then desired accommodations. It's very good size for a family.

The property was beautiful, beach and parking very close and the bunk beds perfect for kids. Our family loved it!

Updated rooms very family friendly

Clean and comfortable! The only downside to our specific room, there was a small building directly in front of the balcony. So, it blocked the view to the ocean. Otherwise, it was a great stay for our family!

We have staid here numerous times and always love it. The room was bright and cheery and super clean. The decor was modern and beachy. I love how they have several hooks on the wall to hang things like towels, bathing suits, beach bags, backpacks, etc. Even though we didn’t need it we had a family suit. I would have loved this when my kids were younger. It had a cute, beachy bunk, full on bottom single on top and a separate tv. There is a little separation with the bathroom, wardrobe area and microwave and fridge between the 2 sleeping areas. The view, as always is beautiful. The restaurant is good. The tiki bar is fun. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beach is spectacular. There is so much to do close by. This is our go to get away. Great for couples and families. The only negative was the WiFi was pretty much non existent. Did not work well at all of that is important to you.
