Comfort Suites Southport - Oak Island

Nice room, nice staff , free popcorn and cookies& mints& coffee in lobby. Nice free breakfast and nice but small pool.Close to grocery store, gas station and fast food. About 20 minutes to beaches .Pet friendly areas out back. Good lighting at night in parking lot. Will stay there with my family again.

We had a great time at this location! The staff was the very best and made us feel so welcome. We traveled with our kids and they had complementary popcorn and cookies for us at all time. The marketplace is super convenient and the breakfast was just like most, some hot foods and cereal and what not. The only thing i would say is that the new road or construction or whatever makes it a little difficult to get to from one side of the main road. But we had a fabulous time and will definitely stay here again very soon

Staff was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. We had traveled over five hours and enjoyed relaxing in the pool before going out for dinner! Would recommend friends and family to stay! Enjoyed our free breakfast! Would request for housekeeping to check shampoo/conditioner bottles when cleaning for emptiness!

We’ve stayed at this location many times and have always been pleased. This stay was different. There were some kids play blocks left in a drawer. The bathroom was a little in disrepair. The shower was always just barely lukewarm even with the hot water all the way up. The toilet would not flush properly. You had to hold the handle and watch it swirl around for a long time just to get anything to go down. It would scarcely flush all the water in it down, as if the plumbing is partly clogged. The refrigerator freezes everything and I didn’t see a thermostat to adjust it. The air conditioner wasn’t great. It would cool it enough to tolerate but did not function very well. This was room 224. Line I said before, we have been in nicer rooms at this establishment and always been please.

Loved it! Front desk especially friendly and accommodating. Great for families. Good breakfast. Clean. Only downside was the cost to use the dryer. I would recommend

Welcoming and friendly. We booked at the very last minute and despite the few options available this hotel was nicer than expected and more than we hoped considering it was Easter weekend. The rates are good especially the pet fees! Only $30 a night when before at other hotels we were charged $150 per night! They also had a welcome baggie for our fur baby :) Less than a 10 min drive to the beach and to Southport. Really neat!
