Hampton Inn & Suites Carolina Beach Oceanfront

Great stay for my family. Clean and just what we were looking for on the ocean front. Breakfast is a bonus. Similar to most Hampton's. But with the beauty outside along with the patio, pool and bar overlooking the beach.

Great beachfront location for our family. Hot breakfast was delicious. Staff was so accommodating.

This property is right next to a loud bar and over the boardwalk. Drunk people screaming until 2-3am, fights, etc is not good for young children. We also had cockroaches on our balcony, and the room has no walls so there is no privacy at all in the rooms to change or talk, etc. This is not a hotel for families and not worth the money at all.

Great place to stay, balcony door was a little hard to open. Maybe for the sake of small children. We had an ocean view, but also the view of the top of the store next door. Really wished for the actual ocean view experience. Other than that great stay. Restaurants shops were very convenient. And they took care of a parking ticket my husband got due to lack of parking in their parking lot. So over all great stay.

Good for families. Good breakfast included.

Our stay was wonderful. Very clean. Breakfast staff and Front desk was very friendly and they went above and beyond. My child hugged one of the breakfast staff and brought her a seashell. I wish i could remember her name..

We had a one night family getaway. Looking for a hotel we found this one and it was amazing. The people were extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The room we had was wonderfully clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay at. In fact, my family and I will very likely return in the summer for a longer vacation.

Stayed here one night with my two kids. Room was great (king suite) and spacious, loved that it was oceanfront, and close proximity to the boardwalk. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, especially the ones in the breakfast area Sunday morning. Will definitely stay here again!

Overall it's a nice hotel in a pretty nice area. The staff is kind and accommodating. The hotel is very close to the beach (less than 1 min walk from its door to the ocean) so that allowed us to go to the beach 4-5 times a day instead of staying there for the entire day - very convenient. Breakfasts were included and they were pretty good and well organized - we never saw a line or a crowd during breakfast hours The gym was nice too with a good weight machine, ellipticals and tread mills. The rooms were in a good condition but there is one thing you should be aware of - these are not real suites. We had one big room with 2 queen beds and a sofa. For us it was convenient enough but this room would probably would not work for other families that require 2 separate rooms. Also that room had only 1 bathroom sink and that was the biggest inconvenience for us since we had 2 kids and 2 adults. Overall I would recommend this hotel as long as you accept a few shortcomings
