Hampton Inn & Suites Southport

Great location and stay! They were very welcoming for our family including our dog. We drove to the beach everyday and ended the day with pool time. Great breakfast as well!

What a fantastic hotel! Our family of 6 stayed here for a long weekend mini vacation and everything was outstanding! From check in, the cleanliness of the room, delicious breakfast, friendliness of employees, it was amazing! The room was super spacious with one of the biggest rooms for 6 people we have ever had with a large bathroom. Breakfast was great with lots of wonderful hot and cold food to choose from. My kids especially enjoyed the waffle maker and all the toppings that came with it. Also hot cookies served at 3pm, yum! I highly recommend the Hampton Inn in Southport for any family going on a trip.

My children and I visited this location and it was way more than we expected for the cost. The area was super convenient to everything necessary. The beach was maybe a 7 minute drive. Local to grocery stores, shopping and food. The hotel was very clean and the people were great. The complementary breakfast was exceptional. We brought our fur baby with us and the there was a nice area to walk them. When we go back, we will stay here again! I would definitely recommend!

It wasn’t the property but the ppl. We came on vacation to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. Saturday morning the phn in our room starting ringing @ 7am due to children playing on the phn. Sunday we were awaken with music playing @ 7am and dogs barking. This location is a pet friendly environment (Hilton Honors). Had we known we would’ve stayed somewhere else. Needless to say we checked out a day early.

Property was convenient to where we wanted to visit. Morning breakfast was excellent. Small pool for the size of the property. Pool was taken over by kids in the evening.

My entire family loved the visit to the Southport facility. The staff was friendly, the room was immaculate. We’ll definitely will be coming back for more visits as it is perfectly situated between Southport and Oak island properly. Convienent to the local grocery stores and plenty of food/gas options around.

My family and I just needed a place to stay passing thru and this was perfect!!! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was so nice and clean. Great price! Cheryl helped us so much. She was doing the breakfast and was so kind. When one of my kids accidentally locked the safe, she is the one who came to the room also. When I mentioned he wears many hats here, she said she was the manager and filling in for the breakfast person and assisting housekeeping. Would definitely stay here again!

We were greeted by incredibly friendly staff. The suite was spacious and clean. The pool was the perfect sized for our little family to have fun and cool off without getting all sandy. The breakfast had enough variety that our kiddo with many food allergies still had choices. We were really impressed with our stay and though we were only in Southport for a wedding so don't have intention to return to the city, would highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very nice. Would definitely stay here again when I go down to the beach.
