La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Garden City

I choose this hotel as it was close to my family and friends as well as being accessible to the mall and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and my room was large, had a comfortable bed and other amenities. Basically, it was kept clean by staff. The only issue I had that when I requested clean towels in the evening, they were sent up to my room.I had to wait until the next day. The continental breakfast each morning had great choices as well as variety of foods. One suggestion is that the tub have bars to assist elderly guests when showering,

Bad: Suspect people in the lobby going through the cabinets. Front desk staff dressed and behaving like they’re at home. Hotel room smelling like urine. Hair in towels. Good: Clean room (outside of the urine smell). Comfortable bed. Slept like a baby! Parking is great! Nice restaurants nearby. Continental breakfast was good.

I know of this hotel chain and wasnt suprised at how clean and friendly they are. I'm glad they continue to uphold the quality of their business and will continue in the future of staying with them. This particular hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and polite. I recommend this place to stay with family.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I was with my newborn and came a bit early, she called personally and had a room cleaned for me to check in. That was so thoughtful. The little things

Not bad but not terrific either. Staff is nice. One night on a family matter. Longer than that is a stretch.

Decent hotel. Comfy bed. Bathroom had slight mold on the walls. Breakfast was severely modest and they closed it up right at the finish time without any remorse. There were a host of people in the dining area wanting food and the lady just pointed to the time on the wall and kept packing up. 1 of 2 elevators were broken the entire weekend, so it was super slow. Check in was slow and the clerks weren't really helpful or overly polite. I was supposed to have an adjoining room with my friend, but we were merely next door without an inner door connecting the rooms. Nevertheless the room was large which was great, and my family was comfortable and cozy.

Showers are not conducive to older people. There were no guard rails in the showers and the toilet bowls are made for children.

A solid place to stay with the family. Needed a place for a quick 1 night trip to hold a family of 5. The suite was perfect. It can use an overall upgrade in terms of some of the furniture and colors being older but I understand that happens when the time is right for the hotel.

This hotel is a hidden gem. You would not think from how old the hotel is it would be so clean. My room was really clean, and the bathrooms had DOVE products built into shower wall. No little sample bottles, it was nice did not need my own toiletry items I packed. The TV was a smart TV, not many channels but having the option to login to Netflix, or use Chromecast for other apps was a bonus. The price was reasonable for the stay and location. I have a few suggestions like King size pillows on King size beds, extra towels in room when families of 4 with teenage children are staying in a room. The water pressure is not great but water stays consistently on the temperature you put it without fluctuation. At check in or in the hotel have list of hotel information (breakfast hour) and surrounding restaurants & business that hotel guest might be interested in or in room would be helpful. Staff was nice and helpful. I would stay again and highly recommend anyone staying in the Long Island area who is looking for a clean place to stay with a comfortable bed.

Quick check in, comfortable beds, clean, great location, accommodated my 2 fur babies, breakfast not so great, coffee was bitter, otherwise a great 2 night stay and would stay again.
