Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place - Garden City, NY

I was in town for a brief stay. I had multiple rooms for my family and I. The hotel is modern. The rooms were clean. However the ceiling had stains from water and different corners of the bed and walls were like chewed up and fray. The front desk attendant, Kenny was helpful but all his answers were a “matter of fact” like i was supposed to know the answer to my question already. The young lady that came in the next was very sweet and knowledgeable. One thing i will say is that this was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in my life of traveling. Different variety, hot breakfast and delicious. Great for children and good walking distance to stores even though they have everything you need at the front desk. I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed there with my family for 2 nights and 1 day I have just wasted my $750. Stove didn't work and when I called the front desk first nobody answered the phone and after calling 3rd time someone answered and refused me to help me by saying this there is nobody now to fix it. And then after sometime I got a call that a guest is complaining about noise coming from our room but my kids were tired they were sleeping but I gave benefit of doubt and thought maybe they are mistaken. Then next day when we were checking out we got a call again about noise at 12 pm. I told we're walking and we are about to check out and it's day time how someone can complain about it. Anyway I spoke to front desk there was a girl she more professional then the manager on duty. Manager name is Alexis I forgot her name but she was rude and aggressive to my wife and I thought better to contact corporate which I will do now. .

Breakfast each morning was terrible and needed to keep asking if there was more coming out as other guests were taking Togo containers full of food after eating depleating all of served food. Help stated there was no more food to be brought out or smaller portions being brought out. We have 3 children and travel with no problems and look forward to the breakfast at the hotel and family time. This was impacted as my kids and were not able to eat a meal due to this. We don’t care about us eating but only the kids. This really impacted the stay and made it harder in us as we are on vacation to give them the best experiences ☹️😞

Room: clean, comfortable, excellent beauty products. Lobby: very clean, coffee, tea all night, friendly receptionists. Room service: they come back when they say they will, when needed towels I had to go get them myself, overall I would stay here again with my kids, comfortable sheets and very spacious.

I went here for a lil staycation with my son and it served its purpose. He had so much fun in the pool area, there’s was a lot of other families there so he had a bunch of other kids to place with. The only issue that I had with this property was the extremely loud noises coming from upstairs. I’m not sure if there was construction being done on the 3rd floor or there was just a very loud guest but it was ridiculous. ALL MORNING, I was working up around 6:30 am by it then again at around 9:30. I heard this noise all the way until check out. I didn’t complaint to the front desk because I was checking out there day but I was very annoyed that morning

Call the dentist because this is a sweet suite! My 4th for room was a fantastic (and quiet) room! Full kitchen, pans, plates, cups, silverware, lg spoon and spatula for cooking, dishwasher & soap, lg fridge, 2 electric burners for cooking and nice microwave. Even a little cabinet space to store groceries. A small work desk with extra lamp. Large screen TV that swivels. The king sized bed is perfect for sleeping with several charging outlets on both sides of the bed. HUGE living space with laminate wood floor. Not that there's any need to, but if the kids wanted to sleep in a pop up tent on the floor, there's plenty of room for it, AND still be able to walk around easily in the space!! I didn't catch her name, but the front desk clerk who checked me in was SUPER helpful! She was in the middle of an closing/early opening shift and still had a smile on her face! Many places I've been to in my many trips across the country, I encounter service people who have such a sour face and an attitude that you're annoyingly bothering them to do their job for you. MY EXPERIENCE HERE WAS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! Check-in was a very smooth and positive experience! She told me about the evening social and what that entails. Advised me that the (free) parking near the back entrance and it's elevator were much closer to my room. For a nice ending to my check in experience she gave me a bag with 2 bottles of water and some cookies. I will happily stay here everytime I'm visiting family in Mineola.

Place is perfect for a family - as long as you are not looking for high end stays.

Lovely suite to spend the holidays w my family. Nice and clean.

We stayed here for 6 days a family of four. We stayed in the suite with 2 queen beds. It was comfortable and convenient to shopping. Overall it was a pretty nice room. It was clean! Just had a few minor repairs that need to be addressed. There were quite a few gnats. We had to keep the trash cans emptied. The bathroom vanity was peeling. The towel rack kept falling every time we hung the hand towel up. In the kitchen the refrigerator door was coming apart on the inside.

This worked well for our family visit to USMMA. Easy drive to and from school. Rooms were clean, kitchenette was very helpful, and we loved grilling out in the courtyard with the property grill.
