Salvatores Grand Hotel

A great place to stay alone or with the family. It was our second time being there. The breakfast was good. The stuff is very nice and attentive. After a long day, we stopped by the bar. The service was excellent, and so was the music selection they were playing. The restaurant is very elegant, not sure about the food yet. Maybe next time we will dinner there as well. Mr. Salvatore, the owner is always walking around making sure everything is running smoothly. Even the restrooms by the bar and restaurant are impeccable, with clean hand towels for each person to use. The bedroom were very clean including the bathroom, and to me that is a plus. Overall, a splendid stay.

Check in staff were super kind and courteous. Actually all staff were very friendly. Our room was upgraded for free to a suite due to an error on their end. The suite had a jacuzzi which was amazing! The food from the restaurant was excellent! No complaints at all, would stay here again with my family.

This hotel was awesome from top to bottom. Staff was friendly and professional, beds were firm and clean, breakfast had great selection, hotel was very clean, restaurant was excellent and there was a park just across the road honouring fallen heroes. So this was an educational experience for my children as well. Totally enjoyed my stay. Will be back for sure.

Excellence and charm from the moment you walk in. Felt like walking into a family living room instead of hotel. Staff were friendly and professional (which is sadly uncommon this day and age). Final treat was the honor of meeting Mr. Salvatore himself at breakfast! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely return again if ever back in the area!

It is a great hotel where my family and I enjoyed a good rest in a clean, safe and quiet environment. I definitely recommend this hotel and it's friendly staff. I'm looking forward to staying there again.

We just stopped off for a night on the way home from my kid’s college in another state. Check in and check out was easy, we got an extra hour late checkout (noon), the room was spacious and lovely with comfy beds and nice amenities. The staff were all kind and attentive. The fitness room was adequate, and the breakfast quite good and served from 7-11a which we really appreciated as it was Mother’s Day and I wanted to sleep in a bit! Mr. Salvatore was in the dining room but didn’t bother us; my son had a pleasant interaction with him. That the place is a shrine to Mr. Salvatore and paints him as a philanthropic workaholic narcissist was a charming curiosity. For the price it was quite luxurious. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

The owner openly describes a feud ongoing with family members, has posted numerous awards and honors about himself on the walls lauding his generosity, and has created a monument park across the street that will host his own mausoleum. He personally presides over the breakfast dining room. The hotel is nice, but this is a bit too much of ego and adulation to make it very pleasant.

Nice family property, especially if you like local history. Great bar, which is popular with locals as well as guests. Convenient to local businesses & airport
