I drove 10 hours to Albuquerque, and all I wanted was a hot meal & a bed. 10:40pm, I walk up to the front desk & say I'm checking in. They tell me they can't put me in a room, because their computer isn't working. They ask if I a come back in 1/2 hour. I ask where I can eat. They say there is a restaurant open in the casino. My wife & I walk over there. It's a little "walk up & order your own food" place. My wife looks at the menu & says to get her chicken strips...because how bad can you mess up chicken strips? I'm next in line to order when the whole electronic menu changes to their "late night" menu...because the clock had struck 11pm. Now, we can get a hot dog, Frito Pie, egg roll or soup. -_- We eat some bad food, and go back to the front desk. Now they tell us that can put us in a room, but we won't be allowed to leave the room until morning, or we will be locked out. I'm so tired & pissed off I say "I just want to go to sleep." They send a valet kid to walk us to a room that reeks of smoke, despite me reserving a "non-smoking" room. We cranked the A/C to help with the smell, shower, and collapse into bed. In the morning, we pack up & got the heck out of there. When checking out, they ask "how was your stay?" I say "the worst hotel experience I've ever had." "Oh. Sorry about that. Well, you're all paid up. Safe travels." This place s u c k s.

Clean, alot to do! Food is what really sold this place. Ember is an A1 dining experience 10/10. Tiwa was an excellent spot for breakfast! Worth the trip to stop by and spend a day or 2. Only negative comment i have is tthe amount of un atteneded kids at the pool. Seems like all the parents were out in the casino and it felt like a peter piper arcade with the amount of kids. We were there for the 4th of July weekend so im sure thats why. But again we really enjoyed our stay!

I didn't stay there as they did not have a non smoking room. Wife has Asthma and I have 2 small kids. My mom is on oxygen so we clearly can't stay in a smoking room. They knew they didn't have our rooms the entire day and they didn't even let us know so that we could make other arrangements. Absolutely useless!!

We had a great time. One issue was when we had requested our room to be serviced we left in the morning and got back in the afternoon and it was not done. Then we were told we had to leave to get it done. Went down to the pool. I was there with my older daughter and it was kind of annoying how parents just let their kids talk to strangers in the pool. We were trying to relax and kids just kept coming up to us while the parents were either in the hot tub or in the inside portion of the pool. It’s really annoying when kids that aren’t yours keep asking you to “look at their flips” parents watch your kids! ATM in the casino didn’t work. The inside of the hallway to the rooms smelled a little humid. Also the prices for the spa services are absolutely outrageous. I understand it’s a resort casino but for those prices I better have a lot better rooms and services provided.

I don’t know why we haven’t stayed here before. I was born in Santa Fe and moved to CA with my mother when I was 10 years old. I’m in my 60’s now and come back to NM at least 2 times per year to visit family. I have never stayed here before and look forward to coming back. Isleta was a pleasant surprise. I’m very particular on where I stay. The hotels must be clean, safe and comfortable. This hotel was that and more. We had dinner at the Embers Steak House Restaurant, we had filet mignon plate, and it was delicious! Sadly we were only there for one night, but I’m looking forward to going back and spending more time there.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. We have family in Albuquerque and our first day there, they came and we hung out together at the casino and ate at Chile Risto in the food court (which was like real home cooked New Mexican cuisine!) It was my husband's 80th birthday, so he enjoyed a little extra gambling money. The 2nd evening we each had a delicious mixed drink at the center circular bar! Such a nice helpful waitress and a fun place to stay! We are planning our next trip...hope we can get as good of deal again!
