Baymont by Wyndham Mackinaw City

This place was great. Ive stayed at quite a few hotels and this one was one of my favs. The staff were friendly. The whole place was clean. Our bed (king) was super comfortable and slept like a baby. Our room was really spacious and laid out nice. Let me tell you the shower blew me away it was amazing. Had their own full sized bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner(dove products) smelled wonderful lots of water pressure. Breakfast really surprised me had a very nice spread. The usual toast,muffins ,bagels and cereal plus fresh scramble eggs and sausage patties, waffles, yogurt ,a coffee bar. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy breakfast with family. The air &heating is controlled by a thermostat on the wall which I really liked. Our room felt like a mini home away from home. We will definitely be going back soon. The hot tub and pool were also very nice.only thing I wish was different was the parking lot. Had to park all the way around back side and come in because lot was full and it was the off season. If your looking for a great place that is clean and affordable stay here you wont regret it!!

This hotel is priced about right. We came during peak of tourist season so a bit more than usual, we felt. The room was recently updated including new matresses which was very nice. Pool was also very nice. Lobby and staff are the norm of a tourst city meaning you're not gonna get folks falling over themselves to assist. Free breakfast was what you'd expect for free. It'd been nice if they'd had a couple different menu days though...especially if your kids hate the menu, lol.

Every year our family stays here for our annual trip to the Island. It’s quiet and clean with an extremely friendly staff. Their continental breakfast is great also.

We enjoyed 3 hot items during breakfast. Very continent for kids. Only two treadmills and suggest to have more.

This is a great place for family’s to stay the night before heading over to Mackinac Island. We like to drive up from South East Michigan the night before and catch the first ferry out. The hotel is a bit older but priced well, great friendly service, room was comfortable and a short drive to the docks. We will be back next year.

I liked the location and the availability of breakfast! The room was a nice size. There was a refrigerator available in the room. The room appeared clean. Great water pressure for a nice shower after all the walking. Overall nice stay. Would return and recommend to friends and family.
