Beautiful hotel! This was one of the more affordable hotels on the island (during October at least) and we are so glad we stayed here! The hotel itself is clean and kept up. There are rocking chairs on the porches outside. The indoor pool area was very clean and wasn’t ever super busy. Lots of tables to sit at and work while the family swims. The room was spacious and adorable. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The porter took our suitcases to and from Shepler’s which was super convenient. Will definitely consider staying again!!!

This hotel was within walking distance to most of the island's activities and restaurants; it was also close to the docks of both ferry lines so you could walk. The indoor pool and hot tub were delightful and a nice gathering area at the end of the day for all of us. Friends & family enjoyed the balconies on each of the floors, in addition to the large porch with rocking chairs - they were delightful places to sit and relax.

Room was across the elevator. Our room was on the third floor. Right above the pool area it was like a echo chamber. Then 11pm kids running in the hall and they were yelling. Issues with beening woke at 12, 1, 2, and 4 am from Adults yelling and screaming hide and seek. Worst stay my husband and I had on the island. First time we stayed in a hotel on the islad. Normally it's a B & B never again will we stay in a hotel on the Island.

The suite we upgraded to was terrific, roomy and luxurious! Mu only issue was the tiny shower cabinet, especially for such a nice suite. The pool and jacuzzi are really nice, they should consider not allowing children under 12 in the hot tub (Jacuzzi). My biggest issue with Lake View was NO BREAKFAST SERVICE, ridiculous for such a high end hotel! When you pay the rates we did, we should at least get a continental breakfast. The location was great, very close to Shepler's ferry.

What a beautiful place to stay right in the middle of things on Mackinac Island. We loved the porches and the balconies with rockers on each floor. If you have kids along, the pool area looked like great fun for them. I only wish they had coffee and tea available for a longer time in the mornings and perhaps at high tea time in the afternoons. Overall, a wonderful visit and I will be back. The porter service from the ferries to the hotel was convenient but not always someone readily available to retrieve your bags when they were being held.

Our first room smelled musty and was very small. However, upon request, the manager moved us to a non smelling room that was bigger. There were children running on every floor of the hotel and almost knocked us down on the stairs. Must have been a school trip. They were very loud in the pool and we were on the fourth floor. The cable channels are very minimal and you cannot stream any of the streaming services. The bed was comfortable and the view was pretty. Close to shopping, nice porch with rocking chairs, and very close to the ferry. Staff was excellent and it was much quieter when the children left.

Very inflexible with room booking due to use of Hotels.com. Indoor pool was extremely loud with rowdy children until 9pm. Not a relaxing experience

Great location right across the street from Sheplers Fairy dock! Beautiful family with a great indoor pool. The room was excellent; the staff was very helpful. The hotel has a quiet rule that starts at 9:00pm that was very helpful!!
