Best Western River Terrace

We were in town for a wedding and most of the family stayed here for 2 nights. The location is amazing. The views of the river and being able to walk outside and enjoy the outdoors was a wonderful amenity that we all enjoyed. The rooms itself are a bit outdated and could use some upgrades, particularly in the bathrooms.

I stayed for 3 days - 2 nights with my family of 5 over Labor Day weekend & the room was clean & spacious. Even with a fully booked Hotel, the staff was polite, courteous & attentive. The continental breakfast was amazing & delicious. There's a 24 hour fitness room, indoor pool & hot tub. The pool & hot tub area is warm, very "chlorine-y" & a tad noisy, but it is in a hotel after all & most importantly, the kids didn't mind. And speaking of the kids, they loved the balcony overlooking the river & the friendly ducks perked up their mornings. Overall, we were EXTREMELY pleased with our stay & would definitely stay again & recommend it to anyone.

Have stayed here many (20+) times over the past 25 years. It's a good hotel, slightly better value than Mackinac City options. It used to be a hands down better value but since being bought from original family owners a few years ago prices have been increased to match Mackinac City options. It's reliable, check-in and out is always good. Breakfast quality varies but is generally good. I like the location, right on the Cheboygan River. Rooms are clean and generally in good shape, they have upgraded to enormous TVs since I was there last year. There is nothing spectacular about the hotel, but I've never had a a problem in my many stays there.
