Hotel Indigo New Orleans French Quarter, an IHG Hotel

No frills and clean property away from boisterous Quarter, yes accessible to all points of interest. Perfect for families and walking distance to practically everywhere. Nice and quiet at night too and very relaxed area. Thanks to staff for great experience.

My 2 children and I never was able to check in due to rooms not being ready. When the clerk called to tell me my room was ready it was 7 pm and I had already booked a new room around the corner!

I’m fine with their staffs don’t clean your room everyday but they don’t give u enough trash bags so your room is gonna be full of trash. Water pressure is not enough imo. And they won’t even give u a bar of soap. They do have shampoo and shower gel. But some members of family prefer bar of soap. The hotel itself is in a nice area to walk over to entertainment. Lobby bar female staff is very welcoming

Our room had no place to hang our clothes since it did not have a closet/rack with hangers. The room was small, with an awkward floor plan, but did have a couch, which we ended up using as a place to lay out our clothes for the week. The hotel maintenance and cleaning staff was extremely friendly but fell short when it counted. Stains were found frequently on the wall, furniture and on the bed frames. The bathroom however was spotless and very clean. Our thermostats would not go past 70° which, unbelievably you never think you would need in New Orleans, but the evenings did get cold and a little more heat would have been nice. The staff was kind enough to provide extra blankets which ended up working out just fine. The hotel is located is a great location and our family felt safe staying there the whole time while in New Orleans.

The only thing I can complain about is the bathroom is small in the room. I wish it was a skidding door or some type of barn door that won’t take up to much space.

Not bad for the price. Staff was ok. Sometimes nice sometimes a little rude. Room keys stopped working daily. Hotel restaurant is excellent and have really good food and prices. Service was good too. Room is small for a family, but it was beautiful and confiable.

Overall, nice location if you want to do the whole New Orleans thing. We only needed it to sleep while we visited family and it was very loud, even from the 6th floor. The outside noises kept waking me up. The hotel and rooms could use a cosmetic refresh but it did the job.
