We chose this location because of the proximity to Jackson Square and also because it says “family friendly”. The hotel itself is fine but the area around it is awful. We have never felt so unsafe on a vacation due to the surroundings. My son was screamed at and spit in the face by a transient. The music was so loud our windows were rattling until 6AM some nights. I would not say this is a place to stay with your children. One thing about the hotel is it’s nice to have a heated pool, but it was gross. The water was cloudy, it was like swimming in week old bath water.

Very helpful staff. Definitely not the cleanest hotel. I found a hair brush someone had left in my room from a previous visit. The pool is nice enough but could use some tlc. The gym is very tiny. Was a good place with my kids. Easy to walk everywhere. Quiet enough.

Everything was great!! My one issue was I didn’t know the rooms had different name types for their double beds so I just go 2 queen beds. Well this room don’t comes with a microwave or refrigerator, the better part we was right on canal so we could get to all the places we needed all I forgot you pay for parking 40$ a day so be prepared other than a few issues my family and I had a great time

I have stayed in here before, it’s always been nice and convenient. Unfortunately this time they did not appear organized, I was grateful that my flight was delayed and I did an extremely late check in, however I had selected on Expedia to pay at property. They were training staff and charged my card TWICE, a fraud alert was sent to my bank and that led for my card to be cancelled. I was scheduled to leave the next morning on a cruise which blocked my card and I was with no money or card on the cruise thanks to this mistake. Anyhow, for a family trip it’s a good location and close to everything.

The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The only issue we ran into was a family that was drinking alcohol in the pool area while their kids were running around and diving in the pool close to us.

Smells like Marihuana on every floor. It’s clearly a 2 star hotel in a 1star street packed with homeless drunks. Staff tries its best. Swimming pool is small but nice. Not wholesome not for families I wouldn’t recommend for families. Maybe for couples on a tight budget

This was ok for kids. it was 40 degrees so the indoor pool was perfect. What did not work for us was when I pulled in to park the car I went in to check in (there was no line) it had been seconds, my husband unloaded the toddlers and then rushed in to put them at my feet because the valet was yelling at him to move the car. I got my room keys and went out to stand by our stuff. I asked my husband to grab the stroller to put the kids in before he drove off. The valet said no he couldn’t do that, he was rushing him out, the last thing I needed was our huge stroller that I could load all of our little people and baggage into. My husband drove off and I was standing in the garage next to our belongings holding two toddlers. Two cars pulled up in front of me and they were allowed to unload without being hurried or yelled at. None had children. So this was wholly disappointing and I can’t figure out why we were treated like this. There were no other cars waiting beyond the two that pulled in. Maybe we were supposed to tip first? But we generally do AFTER someone helps us. Upon checkout the clerk told me that the taxis waiting outside were 36 dollars to the airport. However when I got to the airport it was $60. In New Orleans they charge per person, even small people. So if you have kids or more than 2 people, you are better off taking a ride app to the airport. The app quoted me $37 for an XL with a 5 min wait time when I stupidly chose to take the taxi out front to the airport.
