My family was in town for a reunion and we stayed here. The staff was amazing and the hotel was very pleasant. I enjoyed the breakfast and loved the options for conjoined rooms. As a girly that loves her hellish showers, I appreciated the hot water and good water pressure in the shower.

Nice location and breakfast. Room had no extra toilet paper so we had to use the common areas. We were in a suite for multiple days but the room only had 3 towels for the whole family. I asked for towels for everyone and was told that exceeds the number they give. A manager finally said yes but the towels never came but they took the old towels away. I had to go back and try again on our last night.

Location is great, walking distance to convenient stores if needed. Close to street car access, if needed. There is a bakery/cafe 5 steps away from the hotel entrance (vegan friendly). I like the size of the 2 queen bed suite, great for a family or you and your bestie! Staff at the front were nice. The main con for me was the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. There was black mold in and around the shower. I was able to contact the front desk to let them know, the housekeeper tried her best with instructions from her supervisor. Long story short, we weren’t able to switch rooms of the same caliber (suite) due to no availability. Due to cleanliness I would not stay there again.

I arrived and found no one at the desk for a few minutes. When someone came out, they began checking me in, I paid for my valet, and then someone came over and said valet was full and self parking was closed too. After a bunch of waiting and talking to people, I was told we’d be the last car in for the night. (It was around 7pm, not late.) Once I got outside, the valet told me he couldn’t take my car because it was full. Eventually he said he’d make it work and he did, but it was a mess and took a lot of time. Once we got up to our room, our keys did not work. We tried multiple times and eventually someone opened the door to tell us the room was occupied. It was the correct room number. We went back downstairs, had to wait in a line of people, and then the staff were confused by what was happening and didn’t seem to know how to proceed. Eventually they gave us a different room and we had to go back up with all of our stuff again. This whole process was challenging with three kids. When we finally got to our room, we discovered that there were not sheets on the pull out bed. We called and asked for sheets, but they delivered a bag with five bars of soap and a shampoo and conditioner. We then called again and received sheets. We also only got 3 towels for 5 people. The breakfast was lovely and it was a good spot to stay for us to explore New Orleans.

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at the hotel. We had a family member who was extremely ill and we had to fly to Arizona. We were unable to cancel or change dates through hotels.com or even the hotel. This was very disappointing.

We had to leave early due to a death in the family. Hillary at the front desk was amazing - she made sure we weren't charged for any of the remaining nights (despite it being 2:30 p.m. when we were checking out) and even gave me a hug!

Parking is horrible. No Valet parking available and no one in the front for valet to help guide you. There was a fight between a staff and a customer in the lobby. Staff was not smiling to make you feel welcome. The room was warm at 78 and we lowered it down to 69 for the room to get cold but it only went down to 77 on day 2 of my stay. I dont recommend this place to anyone especially with kids. It says pet friendly but no grass area for your dog to use the restroom was told to go outside and they do it on the sidewalk.

The room was huge, great for a family of 5. Valet was full, directed to a closed/full garage, so had to find another garage further away. But, it was cheaper than the hotels valet.
