This hotel is beautiful and very near the Aquarium and Insectarium. My suggestion is that there would be food for kids. Especially after the Riverwalk closes at 7 pm. My suggestion would be macroni and cheese, hot dogs and PB&J sandwiches.

I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed my stay. This time however was different. I stayed in building 3 this time and it was run down in my opinion. The location is good and upon arrival the customer service was good. The elevators and escalators are old and often out of service. The lights in the hallway were flickering. In the room itself the bed was squeaky, the bathroom door was very difficult to open and close and would be impossible for an elderly person or small child. The water pressure was very poor as well. When we checked out my boyfriend and I had a lengthy conversation with the receptionist. Once we got in our Uber my boyfriend realized he didn’t have his phone and went back in so they could take him to the room to retrieve it. The receptionist gave him a hard time and ultimately called security. There wasn’t even 5 minutes that passed between us being at the desk and our Uber arriving. Security ended up to owning the room for him because he remembered us from earlier that day. The receptionists attitude was terrible and did not convey good customer service. I am not sure if I will stay here again unless they make heavy renovations and never again will I stay in building 3. It was not worth the $230+ per night plus the resort fee. Also, skip Dragos for food. The service was great but It is crazy expensive and was also not worth it this time around because the food tasted swampy. If you want great food go to Neyow’s.

This is a great hotel for staying in New Orleans. It’s huge and anonymous (which I liked) but staff are helpful. The breakfast is fantastic - a huge choice and really good quality. The room was large and clean with good facilities. We tried one of the pools and it was surprisingly warm and my children loved it. Just a couple of niggles - the signage is practically nonexistent so we spent a lot of time trying to find things and getting lost. Most of the lifts and escalators were broken so we had to use the service lift (and apparently they’ve been broken for weeks…) and the shop never seemed to be open which was annoying when we’d hoped to use it for snacks / drinks for the children. Overall though, a great place to stay.

For the price of the room it was nothing special. Prices were exorbitant at the restaurants such as 5 dollars for a bottled water and 4.50 for a small bag of chips We are locals who came to stay overnight to go to a show and understand tourist prices but 50 dollars for them ti park your car is downright thievery Will not recommend to family coming in
