Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel

Pros: location - close to popular areas, restaurants and dining, parking with security, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean hotel, & charming design. Cons: beds are too small for 2 people, rooms/bathroom are very small, $30/night deposit, $40/night parking 2 blocks away, & a/c was lacking. We likely would not stay here again simply because of the parking situation & bed. Had we known we’d need to pay an additional $120 for parking during our stay, we would have chosen a hotel down the street that was $20 more a night but had valet parking. The beds are SMALL. Our room was SMALL. For a family of four staying 3 nights.. it was challenging. Staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was lovely.

Our family loved our stay at the Best Western on St. Christopher.

Went after the Mardi Gras weekend so the place was a mess. Look like sewage waste . Alot of poor people around outside business area drugged out and drunk . I don’t recommend bringing pets and family.

The hotel was off one of the main roads. It was listed as onsite parking. It was $32 to park and was several blocks away. The desk clerk said it was a 4 minute walk. After packing my belongings and 2 small children. I timed the walk to be 8 minutes to the hotel. Someone was smoking in the hallway when we got off the elevator. The room also had a small smoke smell. The blinds in the bathroom were broken. Hung about 3 foot open at a diagnal. It had been broken like this for awhile because you could see the dust built up. The window goes down to your ankle level in the bathroom so everyone in the next hotel can see you on the toilet or getting in and out of the shower. We asked for an extra sheet and blanket for my sons crib and the lady only provided a blanket. Second trip down stairs she gave a fitted sheet and the third time I was able to get a regular sheet. Overall, this is not a good hotel for a family. The walk was unsafe passing homeless people and even a human poop on the sidewalk. Breakfast was supplied and the options were that of a nice hotel breakfast. The beds were not great but not terrible. The room and restroom were clean.

We loved everything about this property. Dog friendly so we were able to take our baby. The location is perfect as its close to the French quarter and Bourbon street. We will definitely stay here again.
