The walls are paper! I listened to a baby cry 24 hours. This place has no insulation. The service sucks! The entire staff has attitude problems. They act as if they are are too good for you. This place is not worth it. It’s cute but if over you pick a Hilton or Marriott property. No water bottles, no snacks, no service and no one picks up the phone.

This hotel was just perfect. Location was barely off bourbon street so safe to walk back to at night, but far enough away you couldn’t hear the noise from bourbon. Loved the ambiance throughout the hotel including this nice outside area. Hotel bar was great and had a real mixologist style bartender. Hotel gym was nice and even had cold towels always at ready. Hotel room had high ceilings, only thing was there was no window so it felt like you were in Vegas at a casino because you could never tell what time it was. Overall would recommend to any of my friends/family.

The Eliza Jane was great! Our party of 10--3 adults and 7 children--thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was super kind and helpful--Charlie was awesome! The gentlemen running the valet was also great. The restaurant and bar have excellent selections and wonderful staff. The vibe of the hotel is super cool. And for the history buffs and lovers, the hotel was once a printing facility for the first newspaper ever owned and operated by a woman. And that very special lady, a pioneer in written communication, was perfectly named Eliza Jane! Highly recommend!

The Eliza Jane was an amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly, our room was exactly as advertised and the hotel had a ton of charm and character. I have already recommended the hotel to friends and family and will stay here again should I find myself back in New Orleans.

Had a great stay at the Eliza Jane recently with my family! My stay started with a friendly greeting and my room being ready 2hrs earlier than expected. We got a suite so our 2yo could sleep in a separate room, and they also provided a large pack ‘n’ play for a crib. We loved the overall decor in the room and the lobby area and courtyard. And we had great service the whole time. There was a dent in the wall, some chipping on the bathroom mirror, and one of the pull wands for the curtains was missing, but otherwise everything seemed to be clean and in good condition (and these imperfections didn’t impact our stay…I more just note them because Hotels.com is asking about cleanliness).
