Good for New Orleans. More for business and friends over family.

The hotel was great just didn’t fit our kid-friendly need. The front door and valet staff made the entire stay, they were so helpful, warm, and treated my toddler so sweetly.

We stayed 3 nights for a short vacation and to see Hamilton. It was a short walk to the Saenger as well as many restaurants and shops in the Warehouse district. It is right by the St Charles line trolley stop, and was an easy walk to the French Quarter. We actually didn’t move our car the whole time we were there. The kids loved the rooftop pool. It was always really crowded in the afternoons through the evening, but we found that from 9-11 in the morning, it areas perfect for the kids. They could swim and enjoy without disturbing any adults. They actually had the pool to themselves all 3 mornings. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and unique. We ate at the Josephine Estelle for brunch, breakfast, and lunch while there, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are spacious, clean, and accommodating. Pool deck is beautiful! But if your from out of town, DONT STAY HERE ON THE WEEKENDS, especially if you have a family or are of older age. This is the hometown hotel where the locals party & hangout. The elevators smelled like weed when I went to check out the pool that was jammed pack with people! Definitely not guest from the hotel because I over heard several people and they didn’t have access to the elevators to go up and down. I ran into the manager on my way back down to my room and she said it’s always like this on the weekends. It seemed like a club more than a hotel, with a steep cover. I was hit with a $200 “hold” that was not on the Hotels.com app. I hate when this happens because it’s a hassle getting it back. I have no problem with leaving a card for incidentals but they don’t do it as a hold but more of a charge with the money refunded till your bank says so. The front desk made it seem like I was at fault for booking third party through hotels.con. Then they also charged the valet instead of deducting it from the hold, which was another $54. So I’m out almost $500 for 1 night! Hey if you want to party and meet the locals, STAY HERE! If you want to let Club Ace borrow $200, STAY HERE! If you want to get high on your way up to your room, STAY HERE!!!! I hope this helps someone avoid the headache and troubles by not staying here.

The Ace Hotel was a good place to stay. It was very retro and I'm not into that but my family seemed to like it. Prime location. Great distance from the Superdome and the French Quarter. No complaints
