Homewood Suites by Hilton New Orleans

My visit was a family trip. The staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was attractive and tasty. The location is great for whatever your visit entails Central location.

We had a 2 bedroom suite! This was a great option for us as we were visiting family in New Orleans for Christmas.

This place was fantastic! We stayed in a 2-King bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms. We had 3 kids ages 7, 8, and 8. The kids LOVED the breakfast, the shuffleboard in the lobby, and the pool. They never wanted to leave the hotel! The staff were all amazingly kind and gracious, and took the time to converse with us. My one ask would be for non-dairy milk or a few vegan options for breakfast.

What an amazing hotel. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The advertised star rating and pictures doesn't do this hotel justice. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, so courteous and kind. The free breakfast is very good and came in handy for a family of 5. Saved us tons of money going out to get breakfast every morning. They also kept tea and coffee out all day, and refreshing cold water that you will need when coming back in from the heat!! The building is not brand new but wonderfully appointed and designed. They do a superb job on making sure all areas of the hotel is clean! The pool was a hit with the kids, I love that they keep the windows open so you don't get indoor chlorine high. This hotel is central to just about anything you want to do, and we walked to everywhere we wanted to go. It was a 12-15 minute walk from just about everywhere, the Riverwalk and Bourbon Street were places we frequented. There are so many popular restaurants that are walking distance that makes this hotel a gem, being so close to everything. We felt very safe in and outside the hotel. The hotel is also far enough away from the bar scene that you don't hear lots of the partying. When we plan on coming back we'll definitely stay here again!!

Scale up your hotel stay! Such a wonderful suite. Super happy to be able to spread out in very nice hotel room. The pool area was great, loud because it is indoors and children scream, but that's expected. On Wednesday's the Homewood Suites have a social, it was very pleasant in NOLA, we met several other guests, the snacks and wine were wonderful.

Excellent if you are travelling with children

Wonderful gem of a property. I can’t believe it’s not rated over 9 . We had a brand new looking one bedroom king suite and everything was so clean. All of staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. Usually when we stay at similar properties we pay double what we paid here. Indoor pool was very nice too and much cooler than the lukewarm/hot water most pools have this time of year that are in the sun. Highly recommend this property, especially for families.

It took me a long time to finally book a hotel in New Orleans for my family of 5. We needed parking, as we were stopping as part of a longer road trip, and we wanted to be near the French Quarter. I was hesitant to book any hotel because of poor reviews about cleanliness and parking. I went with Homewood Suites because of our positive experience in San Antonio at the same hotel and was not disappointed in New Orleans. All the staff was friendly, from the valets to the front desk staff. I never felt concerned about the safety of our vehicle or availability of parking. The two-room suite was spacious and perfect for our two-night stay. The City Sightseeing double-decker bus stop #8 is about 2 blocks away, making it a convenient way for us to tour the city and end up at Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square and catch a ride back to the hotel. I think the trolleys stop near the hotel, too, but we didn’t have a chance to check that out. Lots of dining options within walking distance of the hotel, too.

We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, so finding a hotel room big enough for all of us is challenging. This hotel was perfect. We got a 2 bedroom suite. My husband and I had a bedroom to ourselves with a king bed, my boys were in the 2 queen bedroom, and my daughter was comfortable on the couch. We also had a full size refrigerator, so we had drinks and snacks. The hotel was walkable to the French Quarter, we felt safe walking to and from the hotel. The only thing we weren’t expecting was that the lobby was under construction. Not a big deal but would have liked to know that. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d definitely stay there again.
