Virgin Hotels New Orleans

The hotel was nice and accommodating, we were a little off out with a $500 hold on our credit card for the stay - there were resort fees that were not explained until check out. The room was tiny - as in not enough space to walk between the foot of one bed and the wall. The staff was excellent - bellmen, valet and front desk were outstanding! The pool bar had fantastic drink recipes - the space was limited and you had to pay to sit on a chair at the pool - this was ridiculous especially when you add to that the DJ was playing the loudest and most obscene music. For that reason we will choose to stay elsewhere in the future. We did like the overall vibe and presentation but for a family this is not the hotel.

It was a great hotel but not kid friendly

Service was energetic and excellent, rooms cool and comfortable, and quiet! Products great. And my morning iced coffee was magical - not kidding. Loved my stay at The Virgin

Wonderful stay at The Virgin Hotel New Orleans! Traveled to NOLA with my family for the Beyoncé concert and decided to book here - not only for the convenient location to The Superdome but the fun and stylish atmosphere. The property, the staff, and the rooms did not disappoint! Will definitely be staying here again and recommending to others.

I am not the target demographic for this hotel obviously. 60+, biz traveler. The hotel attempts to be cool, chic, but it just doesn't work. Staff are young, enthusiastic and useless. Ordered room service. Breakfast with cappuccino and 3 package of white sugar on side. Got two cappuccino with 3 carafes of cream. Electric blinds, some lights didn't work. Maintenance could not fix. Supposed to be in room coffee maker.... that was just an Electric kettle to pour hot water over a bag with coffee. The most vile, putrid simulation of coffee ever. AWFUL. Some kind of 'meeting ' every day filled the reception area with drunk kids everyday- pushing through to get to elevator. Room floors were dirty. Went to wipe up sugar i had spilled on tile floor- wet cloth was black after- floor was disgusting. Room services ordering over TV not worth trying. Can't change anything and incredibly expensive. If you are 18 and clueless this might be the hotel for you. If you want a comfortable stay with great service...look elsewhere.

My stay was terrific. The entire staff was cordial, productive and accommodating. I am from New Orleans but I live in Houston now. I travel to New Orleans often. I have been bragging to my friends and family about the hospitable staff.

Virgin Hotel New Orleans: Great Location, fantastic vibe, always helpful staff, gorgeous interiors, smooth easy feeling and extraordinary attention to customer service. We had the Reddi-Bishop wedding weekend extravaganza on Nov 12, 2022. Our combined friends and families had over 25 rooms booked. The Sir Richards Suite (Penthouse) was also booked for the Bridal party (MUST do) so the Brides party and aunts and mothers and grandmas had their goddess time all morning of the wedding where we had the makeup and hair artists come spoil and pamper us. The Hotel Staff rolled out the red carpet and we supplied the red rose and requested them to deck out the honeymoon penthouse for after the couple comes back from being married (see pics). so ADORABLE! Initially, we did have some challenges with the booking as we had so many rooms and we had a special needs member in our family for whom we wanted a room adjacent to his family and with the busy weekend crowd it was a bit difficult, however, the Virgin Hotel team made it work. The rooms were plush with soaps, lotions, shampoo, etc and loads of towels/pillows, and basics. very comfortable. Thank you! We rented the Sandbox area above the groovy bar and lounge area to host our Meet & Greet the day before the wedding. The Coffee bar downstairs was a great start to each day. Special thanks to the many many folks on the Virgin team, here are some I do remember: Brittany, Opal, Lashondra, Zariyah & Damien. (sorry I missed some others)

Amazing experience!!!! Loved the quirkiness of this hotel. Everyone treated us like family and we were always greeted with a smile!!! We will definitely be back!!

We loved this property however, we had our children with us and they were not allowed To venture around the hotel After 6 pm. Therefore we also could not enjoy the hotel amenities, such as the rooftop lounge area that we had been looking forward to having an evening drink at.

We stayed Friday to Sunday in a King suite. We loved it. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Booked our taxi for us back to the airport. Brought our bags in for us when we arrived. The rooftop pool and bar were a plus! I wouldn’t recommend this property for families with young children as the environment is better suited for 21plus. Pool has hours when it’s adult only and it’s a small pool meant for hanging out. Not splash swimming.
