This was a beautiful property! Between the clean and spacious rooms, the exceptional staff, and amazing location, I can’t decide what I loved more. I’d stay here again every time I’m in the city. My family loved this hotel.

I really enjoyed the restaurants on the property. The only dislike is the pool is really really small it’s like a kiddie pool

This is in a quieter area of the city but close to Canal Street and the French Quarter. The St Charles Streetcar has a stop right across the street. We were disappointed because the pool wasn’t open yet. (The hotel does tell you it’s open seasonally but we thought since it was in the 70s and it was filled and clean that we would be able to experience it and we were wrong.) We would recommend it to family and friends and/or stay here again.

The property itself was great! However, there were fire alarms throughout our stay. The staff said there were fires two nights in a row and they did not want to disturb everyone, so they did not evacuate everyone? I am not sure if this was true. How could there be fires two nights in a row? I think children were pulling the fire alarms or the system was acting up. If there were actual fires, why was everyone not evacuated?

We were awakened by a loud bang on the door on our first night there. Figured it was kids kicking doors as we heard them coming and then they did the same to the door next to ours. Shortly after that the fire alarm went off & we had to scramble up, throw something on, get some valuables and start down the stairs from our 7th floor room along with other guests, some with small children. @ 2nd floor someone told us it was a faulty smoke detector - trudged back up, were just getting back in bed when it went off again. Fortunately there was an announcement to disregard before we left the room for the 2nd time. We understand that it probably was a circumstance out of your control and you always want to err on the side of safety, but what would have helped was more communication over the PA system as it was so confusing. And it should have included an all call from the FIRE DEPARTMENT!!! Can't suggest this strongly enough.

The property is beautiful and the staff was super friendly. My problem was the parking. When we arrived the valet asked if we were doing self parking or valet. I told him we had already paid for self parking and he stated to go get checked in and then he would direct us. We get checked in and come back out where he directs us the the parking garage next door and says to park anywhere in that garage. So we go up 1 floor and park. We notice the spots say “reserved” but all of them did so we assumed it was reserved for hotel guests. We decided to ask the valet just in case where he stated he didn’t think you could park in reserved and did we go higher up. My next question was how would they know we paid for parking if we didn’t have a window tag or anything. That is when he stated he didn’t know and sent us back to the front desk. That’s when the desk clerk told us he needed our license plate number and we needed to find spots that didn’t say reserved. That would have been nice to know from the beginning. So back to the car we went to move. The other complaint is the pool hours, they are 7-7. So exited kids ready to swim when we pulled in at 640 we’re immediately crushed to find out it would be closed by the time we got to our room. I would understand if there was a lifeguard on duty but it’s swim at your own risk so the early time is really stupid. Other than that, the facility is nice and clean and the shower is great. The pillows are garbage sheets feel like tissue paper.

Not bad. Clean. Two firealarms during the day. Had to go down two times the 10th floor. Hôtel in a good area, not too close from french quarter… which is very dirty, with a lot of homeless, drugs and prostitutes.. not too safe especially with kids. I did not love new Orleans and Will not come back.

This is a beautiful hotel!!! We love the ICH in Atlanta, so for your family vacation this year we pick something off Canal street. ICH is off Canal street and we enjoyed the stay. Location, professional service, beautiful decoration. The lobby was perfect for drinks and conversation. I loved the text before I arrived to ask if we needed anything before we arrive to the hotel. Our rooms were clean and spacious. We meet some stars and enjoyed the bar with family, Starbucks and Smoothie King next door. Only thing I could change is the parking amount daily. Why not charge less the longer you park with the hotel. We stayed 5 days and the cost was 47.50 daily. We found a parking lot for 31.00 a day and another for 26.00 a day. You are going to lose money trying to charge 50.00 a day. Try 1st day 40.00 and a discount everyday after. Still a awesome hotel and a wonderful staff. No question or request was overlooked Thank you ICH NOLA!!!!
