Hampton Inn Cincinnati Airport - North

I had flight delays & had to cancel my first night stay. I contacted Expedia in their app. After 15 min back n forth I was told that I couldn’t cancel and would be charged. Ok- I can’t get there but will be there on my scheduled second night. Upon my arrival to the property I was told that BOTH of my reserved nights were cancelled. I told the front desk receptionist, “ok, well I need a room.” She looked at my nonplused and stated that I would need to make a reservation. “Ok, can I make a reservation with you?” to which she stated yes. As she’s tapping away on her computer she looks up and tells me “looks like we’re all booked up for tonight.” I was too tired to argue. I walked next door to a Marriott property and slept like a baby after a long day of travel. I just started a new job and will be traveling 200 days a year for work. This was my first time using both Expedia & staying at Hampton Inn. I won’t be using either for the next 199 days of travel. Some lessened have to be learned first-hand.

Big clean rooms we wert up a playpen for our baby to sleep in and still was not too crowded

The hotel says family friendly, I took my one year old. The gave me a pack and play for him to sleep in. The pack and play was dirty, ripped, had urine stains on it. The staff were incredibly rude. A flea jumped on my husbands neck and we asked if we could change rooms and the woman told us we brought it in from outside and she couldn’t help us. Breakfast had limited options. I didn’t get the room I booked. Just an overall a horrible experience.

We booked this hotel for the area due to it having a swimming pool for the kidds but the pool was out of commission also the tub drain was broken and would not drain during a shower. Tried to let the front counter know and they did not seem to care.

I wish they would watch who they are putting by who. We was in bed trying to sleep and we was next door to a couple with a child who liked to run and be loud. Adults were not quiet either. I called the front desk, they kinda laughed and said I’ll see what I can do. Well either they didn’t or it did no good. There were rooms available. We will try a different hotel next time. We have family there and will be staying in the area so we can try other hotels.

Hotel was great. We stayed the night before an early morning flight. Not much dining or gas stations at this exit but area was clean and nice. Staff were super nice and hotel was clean and had a great pool for the kids.

My family and I stayed at this hotel 7/30/2022. When we first arrived we found a stain in the bed that resembled human feces. I called down to the front desk when they came up the lady assured me it was poop and she found it in another room that day. When i asked for another room she said they didnt have it. So i asked for a refund to which she refused. I then asked for clean bedding to which i was also denied. When i called back to talk to the manager she also refused a refund stating that my family pooped on the bed.

We had a good stay here. The hotel was clean and in good condition. The beds were good and my kids loved the pool. Staff was helpful. Location was great for us. Would stay here again if we're in the area.

Visited family with our grand children. We used the pool and the room to rest before the next leg of our trip.

So this was my second time in this specific hotel. Everything was fine and comfortable. However, the hotel was (or is) undergoing major renovations. Luckily, it was the weekend and there weren’t construction going on, making it peaceful. On the side note, the pool area was fine. The water was freezing and then gets closed on the second day of my stay, thanks to a child. Clearly the parent(s) didn’t abide the rules plastered on the wall. The second half of weekend stay would have been me going to the pool between at open and 1-2hrs before closing. Overall, the stay was 8/10.
