Wingate by Wyndham Erlanger/Cincinnati

Place was OK/Good overall. For the price ($135 per night plus tax), as well the reviews, the two of us family members (two rooms) expected more. Breakfast offerings and quality leave a lot to be desired. My room had debris, plastic bottles, etc., behind night stand. Sink in bathroom didn't drain. Management needs to work with Housekeeping to improve quality control for maintenance items as well as developing a cleaning checklist. I honestly don't see how Housekeeping would have been able to clean the sink with it not draining that way. For what we got, the rooms should have been between $90-95 per night, max.

Assigned me a room between two families and kids slamming doors and being loud all night. Should have put me at end of hall. Didn’t seem to care when I reported this the next morning along with letting them know there were ants in my bed.

We stayed at the Nov 16 to 18th 2023. We were on the second floor room not far from elevator. I’m giving this review late because I wanted to make sure my $50 deposit was back in my account. The inside a nicely decorated. Staff was professional and courteous. The room is spacious. Unfortunately around 4:30 am I found a bed bug crawling near my child! I was not happy. They are doing renovations and I hope that includes professional bedbug killer. I went and bought spray so that I could continue to stay in the room. I didn’t see any the rest of our stay. Would stay again but if I see another bug I will not.

We had a great experience. I seen some reviews on Google and they was not great. We stayed 1 night and didn’t have any issues. The lobby smelled super clean when we walked in, on the 3rd floor they was doing some remodeling but it wasn’t an issue for our room. Bed was clean, room was decent size and clean and supplied you with shampoo/body wash and clean towels. Also the pool looked fun from what we seen of it, kids were playing in it when we got there. Breakfast was also decent, waffle maker, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Coffee/tea-milk/juice was all offered.

Very convenient location for visiting family in the area. Common areas clean and well maintained, sleeping area clean and well maintained, bathroom needed maintenance - dripping faucet in bathtub that stained tub, loose floor tile on entrance to bathroom. Front desk indicated that there is a planned upgrade in store for some of the bathrooms. Overall, we were comfortable and would stay again.

When we got to our room, my boyfriend immediately noticed a very loose tile in the bathroom and we notified the front desk. We were only staying one night so we declined to move to another room, which they did offer. The staff was friendly enough. The room itself was ok, kind of outdated and some cleanliness issues. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than a couple days. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. But what made our stay terrible was the unfortunate fact that starting at around midnight until almost 30 minutes later, the fire alarm repeatedly went on and off. Then again at 5:30 am but not for as long. I suspect children playing around and I slept terribly so I would not stay here again. Although most of that reasoning isn't necessarily the fault of the hotel itself.

After a long day of travel and family fun we came to the Wingate by Wyndham which was near where we wanted to go the next day and we were in awe of the space of the rooms and bed and rooms were next to each other, the Grand kids were so happy. Very clean, great shower pressure and quiet for sleeping.

I worked all day long and then drove with the family for a quick getaway. I made my hotel reservation 2 days before arrival and after driving 2.5 hours to Cincinnati I found out that the hotel canceled my reservation….or as they said did not see a reservation. I attempted to show them the reservation confirmation on my phone and the desk attendant acted like she didn’t even want to look at it. While trying to tell her my name she kept saying, no I don’t see it….mind you she didn’t even ask how my name was spelled or anything. I’m furious!!!! Hotels in this area are running over $200 a night and almost Everyone was sold out. I spent 40 minutes calling around just trying to find somewhere for me and the family to sleep.

It is convenient to the highway. The pool heater was turned off and it was very very cold.. I bought five families while we eating breakfast to complain about it. Couple of days later they turn the heater back up. It got a little better.. the heater was a big deal for us because my kids were on spring break and they went to spend a lot of time swimming which they couldn’t do because it was too cold. The waffle butter dispenser was not working. You have to spend a few minutes tilt down and finally gave up. And I wish breakfast was until 10 because a lot of vacationers did not want to get up early.

Only feedback we have is the family above us was letting their kids jump around and run back and forth until 130 in the AM and back up at 600 AM doing the same.
