Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Airport Erlanger

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was surface clean. There was dirty dishes left in the dishwasher and black scuff marks on my bathroom floor. The window from the living room and kitchen was dirty, I don’t know if they have someone to clean the outside windows but I like sunlight in the day time . It’s a nice place to stay with a wonderful FREE breakfast. I think someone has to do a in service with the house keeping staff on cleaning. There’s the hotel’s guest clean and the person that is cleaning or how they live cleaning. The bedding had two holes in the comforter but my towels were clean . I liked the room it just needs some brushing up and proper deep cleaning . This was a family trip of 8 people and two rooms. There was just the cleaning of my room but my other family’s had to stay at the courtyard across from the hotel we were all supposed to stay in because there was a flood the day before or something. So they weren’t very happy about that and there’s was no FREE breakfast there . They weren’t notified in a timely manner about the flood .

Perfect spot when visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Went with another couple and the 2 bedroom suite was amazing. Like having our own apartment! Each couple had great privacy with our own bedrooms and en suite bathrooms, but we also got to enjoy the common area of kitchen, dining and living room. Would highly recommend when traveling with family or another couple. Rooms were very clean and staff went out of their way to be helpful.

After checking in @ approx 9:30 we get into our room with our 4 little children get washed up relax a bit and get into bed about 10:30. After falling asleep for about an hour suddenly we are awakened by fire alarms and people rushin down the haul way we are told to evacuate the buidling immediately. We being on the 3rd floor and with 4 children we think of the worst and grab our dear ones and what we can quickly and dash outside into the snow and bitter cold. We get in our vehicles to warm up and wait. Little ones terrorized by now with fire trucks and after all was cleared by the fire guys of a microwave fire we were allowed to reenter but of course my children wanted nothing to do with that hotel or building desparately scared so we loaded up the remianing items we had left behind and decided to travel on home in the snowy night. After checking out at the front counter they informed us no refunds or help can be offered much to my dissapointment. My advice would be this go the second mile for your customers and give back when problems arise and little ones are afraid. It would have been much cheaper and simpler to bless someone then turn them away unfulfilled and unprovided. I really feel like a 100% refund should have been issued to all that nigh even if they end up staying

Some hotels in this category don't seem to appreciate having families with small children, but we received excellent treatment. The rooms also were very quiet and in great condition.

Hotel pictures provided are very misleading. The lobby and grounds were nice looking and well maintained but inside of the other two buildings where the hotel rooms were located were not kept up on. Our hotel room did not seem very clean. Dried up pee on the bathroom floor, bathroom floor not well mopped, shower did not look scrubbed and had left over hair from previous guests. It really seemed like cleaning was done to a minimum. I was very bummed how misleading the hotel was. We had an unpleasant experience at this hotel and will not be back. I wish I had paid more money to stay at a nicer hotel and not tricked into a good deal. When you stay at a hotel for a family vacation you only hope for a pleasant, clean, fun experience.
