The walls are extremely thin, we stayed on the 2nd floor. Heard a guy having a phone conversation I could repeat verbatim… sounded like he was in our room. The baby coos the next morning were cute tho… glad she was happy. My fiancé thinks he got athletes foot from the shower. The bottles in the shower are refillable but our body wash was good for one person one time and it was gone. I thought the cleanliness was fine but he said paying attention to the details like bodywash make him think they do a quick scan and possibly don’t disinfect well enough. The fridge will NOT hold leftover containers bigger that 4x4, the bistro and smokehouse are good eats and overall friendly staff.

This hotel was super unique! It is the old John Deere factory turned into a Marriott. Each floor and room has super high ceilings and a ton of space. The lobby has nice alcoves with seating and tvs so multiple groups can do their own thing. The gym was spacious and nice equipment. The barbecue restaurant is delicious! The best part was Karen at the front desk. She was so kind and helpful while my family was having issues with the car, and was able to accommodate us quickly for another night. She really made our day! I’d definitely stay again.

Loved the hotels appearance! It was beautiful and had great amenities I WISH I could have enjoyed. My family and I unfortunately did not have good service at all - I took my 2 kids who are under the age of 3 specifically for the pool and complimentary breakfast. “Breakfast” was a paper bag including a banana and a muffin, and the pool was closed the whole time of my stay. When asked about when the pool would open, the staff said they “couldn’t find” their maintenance crew. Upon leaving I wanted to return the swim diapers I purchased (since they couldn’t be used), and the front desk reassured me that they won’t be charged to my account, took the diapers back and charged me anyway. I then asked to speak to a manager, who conveniently “wasn’t in the building.” I left my phone number to be contacted at the desk, and still haven’t been called 5 days later. Beautiful place but awful experience, so I would never recommend or visit again.

We stayed a weekend night for UNI's graduation with 3 travelers (one child). Here's a few things to keep in mind: Process- The check-in process itself was super smooth. I've never had luck checking early into a hotel, and Marriott earned points for that for me. Pros- -Industrial decor -Welcoming lobby with helpful staff -Fitness area has nice equipment to use -We also got to have the pool and gym area to ourselves for the most part. -Our young one was excited about how soft the beds were! Cons- -(My fault for not catching this) The pool featured is only 2.5 feet deep, which means it's more of a kiddie pool than a pool to swim in. -Some of the rooms are not completely soundproof. Our family had to switch rooms because the room next to us was pounding on the walls and yelling at one another. You could hear very clearly conversations through the walls. Luckily the manager on duty was very friendly and able to switch us out quickly to a room that was much more quiet, but the loud noises from the last room really spooked our child and partially ruined her sleep. -Not necessarily a con, but as of this writing, they are doing grab and go breakfasts. Very nice people running this as well! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here for the single night. The staff, fitness area, and the atmosphere were all welcoming and friendly. Just be aware of which rooms are more quiet!
