Best Western Plus Executive Residency Waterloo & Cedar Falls

When front desk staff was asked a question they followed it through and got me an answer. When in the pool area and it was obviously time to close, i was sitting in the back area with a group of people and all the lights were shut off. Completely black and younger kids were getting scared. Very bad service.

This hotel is really really nice. Bed was very comfortable. It is updated. Rates are very reasonable for how nice it is. 2nd time I have stayed here for family weekend at UNI. Worth getting a short distance away from UNI for an amazing hotel for an amazing price.

At a glance, the hotel room looked great, it was updated with vinyl flooring. Upon closer inspection, there were many spiders by the window (dead and alive), there was a sick spill on the floor and a big stain on the top blanket of the bed. It got worse the longer we were in the room. There hand towel was dirty (it looked like feces on it), a face towel was dirty too with what appeared to be mascara on it. There was another dirty hand towel under the sink area along with some old shampoo bottles. The employees of the hotel were great with bringing us clean items (they offered us a new room, but with two kids that I just settled and unpacked we opted to stay in the room) and we went to go swimming. When we returned to the room, I started a bath and a bunch of black moldy/mildew looking things came out of the tub faucet. My children quickly showered instead.

I love the renovations done, beautifully modern and very spacious. I have family in Waterloo should I need to book a hotel it will surely be this hotel

Nice room. Always like the option of a separate bedroom and pullout in the kitchen/living room with kids. Bathroom was no great shakes but everything else nice. Spacious. If you want to stay downtown this is an ideal place. They validate ticket for parking garage across the street so you don’t have to pay parking.
