You definitely do not want to stay at this hotel during the weekend in summer unless you enjoy kids running up and down halls banging on doors. It is extremely noisy since most of the people staying at the hotel are large groups of families with children who are left completely unsupervised. The hotel tries to manage it but it is still very noisy in the evening.

Check in & out was a smooth process, customer service was great and accommodating to our needs. Room was clean, although shower head water pressure wasn’t so great. The pool was good, but could’ve been warmer. Breakfast was good also. Great little family gateway! Would recommend and would book again.

Multiple full-sized flies swarming around in the hotel rooms during the late fall season? Critical health concern there. The evening clerk even admitted to this being a common issue. So, when she offered my family to move at 1 a.m., they had no desire to gather all of the kids in their pjs and potentially be presented with the same matter (they exterminated most of them in the first set of rooms) This issue was also brought to the the day clerk, Lisa. She advised us to reach out to Expedia since we booked 3rd party. Reached out to Expedia and was told that they needed to check with the hotel. He spoke with Lisa, who denied their issue of flies and stated that we were offered different rooms. I expected more out of this hotel, considering the high reviews. Booked 2 rooms for my family members to stay in following Thanksgiving dinner. Never again.

The road is almost blocked off completely due to construction a heads up about this via email or text would of saved a lot of frustration. Bar is closed and I never saw the restaurant they claimed to have. Upon check in it was requested I be moved close to my other family. The manager agreed to the move and said no problem but upon receiving my key that was a lie. Pool has such a strong chlorine angel its hard to be in there. I only allowed the kids about 30 minutes due to this. Complimentary breakfast was good and our room was very clean.

The hotel staff was really friendly. The room was well-appointed and spotless. Had all the comforts of home in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Only disappointing thing was the bathroom. Thankfully I was traveling alone, because there is not a lock on the bathroom door. It’s a sliding barn-style door and there is a gap that is at least 1 inch wide between the door frame and the door, so anyone outside of the bathroom could easily peer in and watch you while showering or using the toilet. Again not a huge issue if traveling alone, but would not recommend this hotel for families/friends sharing a room due to this lack of privacy. Also, the shower was very small and the shower door leaked water all over the floor… I mean A LOT of water. Had to mop it up each morning with towels (and they don’t give you many) and then had sopping wet towels on the floor each day.

I have nothing bad to say about this property. The hotel is clearly newer. The room was excellent. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool could have been a bit bigger for the size of the hotel. But, my kids still had a great time. The breakfast was good and there was enough space for everyone. I will stay again when I am in the area.

We arrived later in the evening, our clerk was very considerate and asked if we were traveling with kids. We were not, so, she found us a quiet room on the top floor. Very thoughtful of her! A perfect night's sleep
