Springhill Suites By Marriott Indianapolis Carmel

We have stayed here before while visiting family. The place is starting to look a little worn. Still clean and friendly

Dawn, the night auditor, was amazing. We arrived pretty late after driving for 16 hours. She was so friendly and helpful. She even went with us to the room to make sure we had extra linens for the pull out and enough towels for our family. Room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was amazing compared to most hotels. Top notch service and quality. Thank you!

Very noisy with all kinds of kids groups, only had three hours sleep before my conference. Rooms very poorly sound insulated and those kids were slamming doors and carrion until the early morning hours. A waste of money, I would have had more sleep staying at home and getting up two hours earlier and drove down.

We booked this for a quick overnight mainly for the indoor pool for our little kids. The pool was disgusting. It was so foggy they had a hard time finding their dove toys in 4 feet of water. My kids can usually spend hours swimming but only lasted a few minutes in the hazy fog of this place. The property appears remodeled but only superficially. The bathroom was old and gross, shower/tub did not drain. The wall outlets in the room were shot and we couldn’t plug in devices to charge or a sound machine except for one outlet behind the night stand. The sheets were so threadbare there were holes in them and the trundle bed (which was another reason we booked here) mattress was stained with nothing provided to cover it other than another threadbare sheet. The free breakfast wasn’t the worst but the eggs were truly inedible and so dry they resembled dehydrated animal food. The halls were nicely remodeled and the rooms had newer carpet and wallpaper but it was all like putting a bandaid on a much larger problem. Overall I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. It was low cost but we would have gladly paid more for a clean pool and overall newer room.

The staff were amazing and very friendly, especially Carrie (sp?). That is honestly the only positive thing I have to say about the property. The building is outdated and very rundown. I had several hotels to choose from and picked this property due to room size. I had two young kids with me and wanted play space. The couch had white sticky stains all over it. The carpet was filthy. Kids had to stay on the beds. Corner moldings were pulled away from the wall. Bottom half of the window was covered by an addition built onto the hotel. The entire property was decorated in dark wood and colors which looked very dated and drab. Pics of the swimming pool below. The pool area is in terrible condition.

Updated and a great location for easy access into Indianapolis. Plenty of parking, some restaurants surrounded the hotel, which was nice. Decent hot breakfast in the morning. My only complaint was the semi-thin walls- I could hear neighboring guests even until 11pm-12mid. Small pool but the kids had a blast!

This hotel was just OK. My wife and I weren't aware that the hotel caters to families with young kids. It was reasonably well furnished but not upscale at all. The room decor was just OK. The bathroom was pedestrian.

The room was nice. However, there was a strong smell of smoke as if from a firepit. There were kids running in the hallways making noise and slamming doors at night.

I was very impressed with Springhill Suites. We were there meeting family coming in from northern Indiana. I had picked this place from the online description etc. The staff was great and the rooms were large. My family was also impressed with it. I would definately stay there again. Carmel is a very nice area with good restaurants close. It also turned out my cousin we came to see works right across the street from it, how funny was that!
