I requested an early check in which I understand it was very busy that weekend. But I was there early with my kids and waited in the lobby for over 2 hours to get a room. I was told they were not done cleaning. But others were checking in and getting rooms. I am sure I was not the only one that had a double bed. That was very disappointing as then we did not have any down time before we had tickets for an event. I don't know that I would recommend this place.

Nothing unique about the property except ity was connected to the convention center. Didn't like? 1. For a handicap accessible room, the toilet paper roll was in very dificult location to use. 2. I had an adjoining with with family. They were surprised not one BUT TWICE with new clients accessing the room because the front desk thought the room ws empty. Once is a mistake. Twice is neglectful. 3. Housekeeping did not replace the coffee. 4. Ice machine was not working on the 12th floor. No sign. Went to the 11th floor and the ice machine was not ion service. Finally had to access the 10th floor for ice. This i how a 4 star hotel works?

The hotel itself is extremely nice and convenient to walk around downtown, the parking situation was a surprise and the pricing was deceptive upon booking. The room was $269.00/per night $50.83 taxes (expected)... but then they charged me another $30 for my child as an "extra person" when I booked for 2 queen beds. I was then charged $45 to park in the garage because the city owns it. For one night, I ended up paying $394.83 total.

Lobby was beautifully designed. Safe and secure. They had security as a priority, even in the elevators. Room was comfortable even though the wall were paper thin. The bathroom was very pretty. Shampoos and conditioners were available. We heard kids running in the hallway all night. Overnight parking was expensive. I used the facilities for less then 12 hours and spent over $200 on the room and parking.

Staff was very friendly! Comforter had some stains on it. Called the front desk and tge cleaning staff was at the room within 10 minutes with a new one. Stains were from the dryer or ironing fyi! Hotel was clean. Valet was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is connected via skybridge/walkway to the convention center and allows for indoor walking almost to the front steps of Lucas Oil, which was crucial for my kids on a cold night! Raj at the front desk, along with others, is very helpful and will answer anything you need. Room was small, but cozy and nice. Shower and bathroom was amazing. Only downside is that there is no pool, which we already knew! Great hotel and will look to stay again.

Upon check in we requested a roll away bed for our room which was supposed to have a King bed and pull out couch for additional sleeping. We left right after check in for restaurant reservations and to attend the Big Ten football game nearby. Upon arrival after midnight we found the roll away bed was not in our room as requested, and the couch was not a pull out. Our two children were very tired and a call to the front desk for the roll out bed was made. Waited half hour - no one showed up. Had to go down to front desk at 1:00 AM to get someone up to room with the additional bed. When they showed up - the said our couch was not a pull out as expected. All in all a bad experience that is not in keeping with Marriott properties we have stayed at. All manager would do at check out was take off parking fee. We feel a generous adjustment on room rate is justified.

Parking was a concern. We arrived mid afternoon and needed the car to meet family that night. We either used valet parking for $49 or use public parking and paid $40 every time we took the car out.
