We stayed for one night. The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean but only 2 elevators were working except for the morning we were leaving and only 1 elevator was working. It was very busy in the hotel so there was a line to use the elevators. Yes there are stairs but we were on the 15th floor and we had our luggage. That was very inconvenient and many family’s with young children were taking the stairs. I would think they would have had someone there fixing the elevators for the amount of people that were staying at the hotel. There was a concert and football game happening so the hotel was crowded.

Jen at the front desk was amazing, friendly, and understanding! She made the stay at the hotel stress free so that my family and I could enjoy all that Indy had to offer.

There is as no quiet hour and neighbors kept us awake with loud children most of the night.

At the time there was a lot of construction at and around the property making it less than ideal when you have little kids with you.

This has been a family tradition to stay the Embassy Suites downtown for Christmas. 17 of us get 3 or 4 rooms. Enjoy the surroundings. This time not so much. I know the place is old, and needs lots of work. Most of the main floor is under construction and off limits. I wish the Embassy Suites well, we've had many great times there. But the renovation needs to wrap up and the whole Claypool Court Retail area is a bit distressed. It's going to be a long journey.

We stayed here for one night and that was enough. The hotel is really expensive for what you get. The rooms are fine. The food is not very tasty. There are limited vegan options. The fresh fruit was hard. We booked this hotel so my young child swim in the pool and the pool was unavailable even though the posted time was 6 AM we went down to use the pool at 8 AM and they said it wouldn’t be ready until 10 AM. We had to leave by that time. The front desk staff was lacking empathy and kindness. I got mixed communications from another staff member who said the pool is actually ready, but they just put a sign on the door to keep it closed because they told some folks 10 AM other families with young children were unable to use the pool as well I’m really disappointed in this hotel especially one that’s geared towards families. The front desk receptionist told me that it was a full house and they had trouble cleaning the pool. I realize that folks can be understaffed at this time I was looking for empathy and understanding and an ETA of when we could use the pool they did not resolve. I’ve called several managers and nobody’s responded. Do not stay here. This hotel puts the burden of a full house onto the patrons other folks checking in, came into dirty and clean rooms.

We came down during spring break. It fast check in and since we stayed in a suite, they gave us a bag of snacks and 2 free alcholic drinks to have in the dining hall. They had free snacks in there as well. Room was nice with little living room area with extra TV, kitchenette and nice bathroom, with 2 comfy double beds. Sliding doors are nice, but not soundproof. Noticed a few spots on couch that someone prior had spilled something and housekeeping missed. Pool is not as big as I thought so it got loud and busy as more kids wanted to swim. Had steps to walk into it so my four year old could sit on it away from others jumping into the water. Hot tub jets were not working but you could sit in it. Nice seated couches with cushions to sit on. By the reception desk there was a little conveince area with freezers/ fridge for frozen food items, snacks and general meds if needed. Breakfast was really good with made to order omelets and buffet. My younger son loved riding in the glass elevators. Parking was confusing as one valet guy was talking to someone and there was limited signage. The parking garage elevator smelled awful and was dirty.

If you want to walk around the city easily from this location, especially with kids/stroller/wagon it is less than ideal. You have to walk down the parking garage ramp 2 levels and then back up again the entrance parking ramp. They only have 1 service elevator that goes to the entry level up to the next level where the lobby is. Not well designed at all

1st let me say this... parking anx entering the hotel is an absolute nightmare. Not just because of construction. You habe to park in an old extremely tight garage at $28 a a day, take an elevator to the 3rd floor, cross construction, go up a ramp, take a non working escalator or walk about 100yrds to a scary service elevator-- to the 4th floor where you check in. Then another elevator to the floor where you are staying. Having 2 small kids this was a cluster. It took 30 minutes just to get to and from the car! If you require a wheelchair forget this hotel. 2 nights of my 4 night stay the heat broke leaving it 60° until an engineer came up to fix it. The staff were pleasent enough but failed to see how inconvenient basically everything was. The window sills and floors bybthe windows were dusty. The room was extremely noisy and the heat fan ran 24/7 making this the noisest worst stay ive ever had. You seriously have to take 4-5 different means of elevator/stairs/ramps just to get to the street. I will never stay here again!
