Hampton Inn Columbus/Taylorsville/Edinburgh

Check in was Easy and friendly! And room was clean and nice! Just had the hot breakfast with a blueberry waffle :) would stay here again. Only wish they had more cribs/ pack n play to use for my baby.

The hotel was very clean. Staff very nice. Only issue the walls are very thin and you could hear everything from the other rooms. Also the hotel booked rooms for a sports teams While kids were in bed. The parents went outside and had a huge party. Very noisy. I was told by hotel that they don’t have security to take care of the situation. So we listened to a bunch of drunk adults yelling all night.

Hampton Inns are always a great stay. Clean, comfortable, and usually a decent price. The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast arrangement. I would skip having a waffle maker. I had unattended children trying to make waffles who were in the way and had no business being around a hot iron. Not Hamptons fault, just stupid parenting.. Have all the plates, and utinsels in one area. Not scattered about where you cannot reach them. When you have many people coming through on a Sat morning and dont have things organized it is a mess. The attendents were not in the best frame of mind or attitude and that just made for a bad start to a otherwise enjoyable stay. 2nd issue was pool water was also very cool. Not just my thinking several people commented how cold the water was. I ended up not going swimming just my 7 year old. These two concerns corrected I would give the Hampton Inn a 5 overall rating instead of 4.

The stay was pleasant and very comfortable! Will definitely stay there again with my family!
