We had 2 rooms the regular room was much nicer that the suite. We found baby roaches in 1 room and a giant one in the second. We let the front desk know about it discretely and they asked us to send pics to the manager when we did he said that it wasnt there rooms and nice try. We didn't ask for anything so we weren't trying anything

Overall, I really liked the property and my stay there, as I was travelling with my child, I would've liked access to Netflix and other streaming platforms on the TV as was mentioned in the description, but didn't seem to be available. Although it was pretty quiet from room to room, it was quite loud when people were in the hallways. Overall though, I would definitely stay again! The room was clean, customer service was excellent and the location can't be beat!

My 8 yr old child(in a wheelchair) and I stayed here for an appt next door at Lurie’s the next day. I had booked a few weeks prior and received two emails with different prices after i booked. Then a different price when we used the self check in station. Because we used the self check in, we never received the wifi password. Bathroom did not have shower/tub combo like stated in the info for king accessible room. My daughter ended up choking on her meds and vomited all over the bed, so she had to sit on the shower floor so i could clean her off. A tub would have been easier. Her wheelchair also wouldnt fit in the shower, so sitting on floor was our only option. I called guest services from my cell and room phone and never got anyone to answer when we called asking if we could get some more sheets. So, we had to go downstairs at 9:30pm to ask. We also tried to text and ask about the free drinks earlier in the evening. No response to that text, so we asked when We were down to ask about sheets. We were only given one bottle of water. $40 for amenities that we didn't get/couldnt use is ridiculous. Both staff members that we interacted with were friendly. The gentleman who was there when we checked out did give me some more water when i mentioned we only got one. Overall, the location was great. Staff was friendly. Room we were in was not very accessible to a child in a wheelchair. Elevators weren't either. We hit stuff every time we went in/out. Not sure we'd book here again

We decided to stay here as a family of 4. We decided to splurge a bit more for this hotel. It was definitely only a splurge in price as the accommodations were not good. The shower had mold all over it. The shower didn't have hot water several mornings and we reported this immediately upon arriving. The sink water was even cold. Finally, they never cleaned the room during our entire stay. Only received new towels by asking at front desk. I would not stay here again.

Not customer friendly that you can not reserve in person. Also "resort fees" are rediculous. Would be great if they could give discount for families staying to be close to the hospital. Can pay across the street for $15 a day less.

Great hotel, staff was fine. My only complaint is there was zero coffee. No coffee pot in the room and both morning i qent down to the lobby to ask for coffee and both days they directed me to starbucks down the road...but that wasnt possible with kids sleeping in the room.

I’m always staying at this property when I visit Chicago! I come here for work in the hospital and bring my family when I travel for work! The staff is phenomenal and it’s always great to see familiar faces of the staff. The location is AWESOME

We got this hotel on a very busy weekend where most hotels were booked. We walked in and there was a huge line and only one person working. He was so slow. Finally we got our turn and got our key and went to the room. The room was muggy and had a strange odor. Did I mention that they told us that we will have disturbances from 8am - 6pm due to construction and remodeling which was never mentioned in their hotel website or updated anywhere else. Very uncomfortable beds and even worse sofa beds. My children who are never fussy about beds couldn’t sleep the whole night on the sofa bed. We had no pillows or blankets the first night as according to them “they didn’t have any.” So we used the sofa cushions as pillows. The second might I demanded pillows and a blanket. Alexandria was at the front desk. One of the most rudest worker there. She never greeted, no hello or high when I came to the counter and when she handed me the pillows she literally punched them into me as of annoyed that I asked for them. When I said thank she didn’t reply and walked away. She was rude to most people that were checking in as well. We will NEVER stay at this hotel agains. I am sure the motels around will have better service.

Our friends' room didn't have any cold water! They only could get hot water in the shower but it was too hot to shower in. Our room had hot and cold water, but the AC was set so that the lowest temperature possible was 68 degrees. That's fine for the day when we aren't in the room, but at night we like to sleep cold at about 65 degrees. The "resort charge" of $35 was absolutely ridiculous! When we checked in we were given a back with three bottles of water and three cans of different soda and was told that was our amenity package. Are you kidding?! There were no other special amenities.

It was hard to find the location because they are having construction done. There was not a name outside their location and when you are not from Chicago, that can be very confusing. I overheard the employee ask of all rooms were okay to assign, and then she gave me a room with no air conditioner. It was 82 degrees. I went down to the front desk and told them I had to leave because it was too hot and they said that they would work on it while we were gone. I have a 16 month baby and it felt horrible. I came back and nothing was done. We sat in the room for almost 2 years, feeling miserable. There was a lot of confusion with fixing the issue. I went to the front and waited for them to fix the issue. They reassigned us to a new room. They did upgrade us with no cost. I just wish all this would have been fixed quicker.
