The room was great! The kitchen was spacious and stocked. It was nice that the kids slept on the couch and that was a bit separated from the king bed. There were plenty of towels, etc. They breakfast was kinda plain. Could have used something to make it stand out a bit. All the service staff was excellent especially the man who did the breakfast. It’s really one person doing the job of two people. He was busting it. The worst part of the stay was the elevator. Both days it took 20 minutes (which feels like an eternity when you’re trying to get out for the day) to get down the elevator. My wife commented that they could double the number of elevators. We think they’re broken because we noticed it only seems to stop in the way up and never on the way down. Limit elevator trips if you can.

Our view was incredible. The hotel staff was fantastic, helpful, and friendly. The room was clean, the maids did a great job keeping up with towels (this is often a challenge for traveling families) and to my surprise the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower not only smelled great, but it was great quality. The self-help washer and dryer was a plus since we’re traveling for a few weeks. The complementary breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, and pastries. Overall a great experience right off magnificent mile.

Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is excellent with all the main food you like in the morning. We noticed that the hotel is walking on a green path. Plates and cups are made with paper and this is very good and not usual in all the hotels. At the start of our staying, we had a few problems with the room but the staff was able to managed very well and in the afternoon everything was perfect. I stayed in the hotel 10 days with my family from Europe. Surely, I will reserve rooms in this hotel in our next trip to Chicago. Just to improve, in my next trip I would like to find “green” cutlery at breakfast and not made of plastic. In rush ours the elevators of the hotel is always crowded with people and you have to wait a few minutes. The location is very good and safe. Excellent hotel.

It’s okay. The room is clean but not well maintained. A lot of peeling wallpaper, old comforter/linens, tub was overflowing and chipped porcelain. The elevators take fooorrr evvvverrrrr… way too many people. This was not a holiday or any special weekend. The included breakfast is nice for families with young kids but you better start your day super early if you want to actually get on the elevator and get to breakfast and get a table. The area and rooms are actually quiet for the location you are in. Parking can be misleading. If you are driving, the hotel parking is also located in an adjacent public parking ramp. The public ramp will charge you $49/day and give you a full 24 hours from when you pulled into the ramp. The public parking ramp will park your car and retrieve your car for you whenever you want 24/hrs a day. If you choose to do the “valet” with the hotel, it will be $69/day and you have to be out of the ramp earlier than a full 24 hours (check out time).

Everything was perfect for me and my family. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and had moments of great comfort and joy. The room we stayed in was excellent for our needs, everything was very clean. Breakfast at the hotel was very good with lots of options. I highly recommend the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location and has family friendly features like separate bedrooms and a kitchen. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. The staff are generally quite friendly and very helpful. I've stayed here multiple times and have always been made to wait an hour or so to check in, even past check in time. Seems to be a recurring problem at this hotel. It is an old hotel and is in dire need of a renovation. Old beds with springs digging into you. Elevators are often a long wait. Couches and chairs are very uncomfortable and feel a bit sticky. Many thing break very frequently. AC, clogged bathtubs, phones and lamps, etc. Maintenance either doesn't show up at all, or an hour or more later. You often need to call back down and remind them to come up.

The location is great, the rooms are nice, the view is beautiful, and the main bed is comfortable. However, there are some real problems. They don’t seem to have enough towels to go around; the pool never had them and when I asked for extra they were out. The pull out couch bed is just springs. Absolutely unusable. The elevator in the morning around breakfast time does not come. My small children and I waited for 15 minutes and it never came. We finally walked down 35 flights of stairs to make it to breakfast before they closed. It wasn’t worth it because the breakfast was terrible. The worst part of all was an unbearable, relentless bass sound that occurred all night. It was so loud that my kids and I couldn’t sleep. I tried earplugs and they didn’t help, if anything it was more pronounced because of the low pitch of the noise. Finally, in the middle of the night, I went down to the front desk to see what the issue was. They said that the noise is in the “cooler” and gets worse during the “end of the month” on the “higher floors”. That is completely unhinged for a hotel to operate like that. I had turned the air conditioner off, and it was coming from the walls, not the ac unit. It was so bad that I couldn’t hear properly the whole next day, like what happens the day after a loud concert. I ended up having to move my kids to a new room at 2am, on a much lower floor where the sound was still present but much quieter. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. Our suites were very clean and comfortable. My special thanks to Jayden (spelling?) and Lynette for their genuine helpfulness and expertise. The complimentary breakfast was also enjoyable and quite complete. The only problem we had was the wait for the elevators.

The lobby and breakfast is the downside of the hotel. It’s loud and crowded and no real place to sit. The breakfast was fine but kind of chaotic. My room was clean and I slept like a baby
