Very family friendly! They treated our kiddos like royalty. They had a very fun goodie bag upon arrival check in for the kids and a scavenger hunt during your stay. The kids loved it! Staff was extremely kind and helpful. My only minor complaint is not having a microwave in the room was inconvenient.

Lovely hotel. Clean, modern, family friendly. Desk staff were terrific and so nice. View from our room on 14th floor was amazing. Great location.

Woken by noisy kids outside door at 0245 (happened last time too though was adults and a different floor), still awaiting receipt and itemized bill despite spelling email address out twice. Multiple stays to date so expect better. Valet and Felix excellent
Please send receipt

I traveled with middle school children for a week in Chicago. For the price of a much cheaper hotel, the Loews is pure luxury. We loved the lobby --cosying up by the fire, or ordering fries from the bar in the corner [a very quiet mellow area], playing cards-- and a coffee place in the morning by the elevators for a quick run for the family drinks-- and the location is ideal. Two and half blocks from Miracle Mile shopping in one direction, one block from the Riverwalk in the other, two blocks from Navy Pier etc. When tired, literally go across the street for: cinema, arcade, bowling, sushi, luxury pub, or grab supplies at Whole Foods, Walgreens, or Target. The pool is incredibly long and thin, which works very well for families because each can have their own areas. Only negative: the TV's are not smart tv's, so you either have to order $21 pay per views, or watch a few basic cable channels (Shark Tank or the local news?). So bring a Roku with you.

This is a great place to stay with kids! We have a 7 yrs, 5 yrs and 18 month old and the hotel was very welcoming. The indoor pool was nice for the kids and one of the reasons we stayed here (the pool was a bit chilly, so hopefully they can get it a bit warmer for winter stays). The lobby is fun and feels cozy with the fire. It's a fun place to hang out at night time and the room was clean and spacious enough for our family while not breaking the bank.

Have wanted to try the Loews hotel. Wonderful service and friendly staff. A little underwhelmed but overall a good stay. Clean rooms. Nice pool area. Overall would recommend as a good place for families wanting a reasonable stay, great location, etc.

My husband and I went to Chicago from Minneapolis on a road trip to celebrate a babymoon. We are expecting our baby in Jan. When we arrived, we found self parking which is $55/day, compared to valet at $75/day. We walked across the st to Loews and carried our bags with. We waited in line for a check in specialist to help us. As it turned to become our turn, a couple cut the line and went to the receptionist and we were ignored by another that just got done with another party checking in. We finally got checked in, and compared to the others checking in, no one asked us if we'd like help carrying our bags up to the room for us. We just wanted to get to our room and then relax. When we got in our room, we noticed used kleenex by the bed. Completely gross for a luxury hotel to not hold their cleanliness standards a little higher. The next surprise was we heard a slamming door next door to our room. A little later we heard fighting audible and a guy walking out very upset. We left for dinner and later returned around 10pm.found hair in the shower and the sink. My husband found stains in the toilet. We tried calling the reception desk because this was uncalled for. We had enough after the kleenex, stains, hair and fighting.

It is considered a luxury hotel but it doesn't compare to other 4.5 star hotels or 5 stars. We stayed in a junior suite and the decor in the room and bedding looks nothing like the pics. We have a horrible view (locked in between buildings). Coffee machine didn't work, had to wait to get it replaced. Won't be coming back here and I truly feel like I wasted my money. By the way it's my 10th marriage anniversary so I do hope this isn't a bad omen. I guess my expectations were too high. Very disappointed!!! I have no more words for how disappointed I am :(
