Excellent value for the price. Great location, we were able to park the car for the stay and use public transit or walking to get around. They did seem to put more effort into decor than upkeep, we saw some stained carpets, cracks in drywall, water stains on the window shade, etc., but nothing too bad. The kids loved cooling off in the indoor rooftop pool or playing a quick game of pool in the lobby after a morning tromping through the city. The fitness center seemed well maintained. We loved being able to walk back after taking in the fireworks at Navy Pier. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location. Kids loved the pool table and board games in the lobby while adults enjoyed live music and cocktails. Great choice for the family.

Overall it was a good stay. There wasn’t anything that really wowed us, but it was a nice place. The pros and cons in no particular order: The pros: The fitness room had more than enough equipment from peloton bikes to treadmills and weights. The room was comfortably cool and had towels and water. There was a pool that was adequate for splashing around. The room was small but sufficient with a nice walk in shower. The tv had plenty of channels. The front desk held our bags after checkout and even held them in a back room that appeared to be secure. I appreciate the elevators require a guest key to access the upper rooms and pool. The snack area seemed to be decently stocked even though we did not buy anything from it. The hotel is situated nicely to plenty of restaurants and there is a walgreens close by. The bus stop is not too far away to catch for places like the Museum of Science and Industry. The cons: the pool is advertised to close at 10pm on the website but was closed and locked by 9pm. This was one of the biggest let down since we skipped an attraction to make sure the kids had time to use the pool. We also found the room to be quite noisy since the walls and ceiling are not finished and other guests were not quiet during sleeping hours. The room does have decent blackout curtains which was good. The room was not stocked for 4 people so we had to request extra towels and toilet paper. The pillows were too soft and difficult to form the get a good sleep.

The hotel was in a great location. The lobby/gathering area was great & my kids loved the pool. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. My only critique is that the common spaces could use some freshening up. I noticed stains on carpet and upholstery & some cushions were starting to get a little threadbare. Nothing that affected our enjoyment, but noticable all the same. All the staff was friendly & I would definitely stay here again.

Room was ready earlier than expected. Front Desk staff was very accommodating… Room is comfortable and clean. However, we don’t have a working coffee machine, no tissue box (only a few sheets were left in box) and button for guest services on phone is not working. Overall, kids enjoyed the pool.

The hotel was satisfactory overall, but there are areas for improvement. The cleanliness of the rooms could be better, and the noise from ambulances outside made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, it was inconvenient that access to other floors was restricted, preventing me from visiting family in their rooms. Furthermore, the slippery shower floor posed a safety risk, as my wife nearly fell. Throughout the night, loud door slamming by other guests was disruptive.
