Aloft Tallahassee Downtown

This was a pretty good hotel. Being really close to the main road, it was a bit noisy. The shower was hot, but the water pressure was meh. Bed was super comfortable. TV was great. Food options were just so so. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I think it’s good for one person or a couple, but I wouldn’t say it was a good fit for a family.

I love that this is an adult focused hotel. I've never been woken up to babies crying or kids running through the halls yelling. The king beds are comfortable, the rooms are always clean, and it's great to sit around the fire with our dogs with a snack and a cocktail from the bar in the evening.

Staff was awesome! Bar staff was very nice. We had a death in the family and found out why sitting there and they comped our drinks!

Enjoyed the pool table and bar was open until 11pm. Had a nice lobby where many families convened.

Arrived about 10 pm - surprised to discover the parking was $15 and was in a lower lot about a half a block walk from the hotel/ To be clear, the lot was next door to the hotel, and the half a block walk included a staircase, and was all within the lot. Still, it was a nerve wracking thing to have to tote my bag in the dark alone from my car to the hotel. I should have insisted on bringing it in before I drove to the parking lot, so I wouldn't have had to carry the bag - and perhaps the desk clerck could have suggested that, upon seeing I was a woman traveling alone. The room was lovely, premium bedding, attractive modern/contemporary style.My favorite thing? They partnered with the local animal shelter and had sweet puppy about 6 months old, looking for her forever family.She had a nice little dog house, food and water, and was looked after by the staff and guests. They told me they see a lot of success finding good homes for dogs and that made me so happy. One other note_no ice machines anywhere but the lobby.
