Hilton Garden Inn St. Augustine Beach

Loved this place so much! The care that was provided for my family was so kind. Best place to stay!

Clean, but not very comfortable. Fridge never got cold. Close to the beach and plenty of parking. Pool was fun for the kids.

We chose the Hilton Garden Inn for our stop-over on the way to NC and were so pleased with the hotel. They have a generous commissary of everything you could need in a pinch from beer, to snacks and drug store sundries. A generous buffet breakfast bar and impressive, clean lobby. The room was stellar, updated and inviting. The furniture was well chosen, comfortable and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable (and allegedly adjustable like a sleep number type system, although we could not get it to respond). We slept like babies in the comfort of their soft pillows and warm comfy blankets. Their free wi-fi worked great and the fridge/microwave made it very convenient to heat our leftovers in the morning. While we did not use the pool, hot tub or gym during this stay they were all well maintained with fresh towels and headsets in the gym for each guest. They even gave a generous 2 PM late checkout which really made a difference for us. It's right off the beach and a great choice for the money.

Quick overnight with my husband and infant. The hotel was clearly not in the best of shape. The front door stuck and was difficult to open and close. The room was sparsely decorated and you could hear a lot of noise. The sound in the room echoed due to the bare walls and high ceiling. Bed was comfy and served its purpose. I asked for a late-checkout (just an hour) because we wanted to take my child to the beach for the first time and the staff refused. It’s not like there was an army of housekeeping staff waiting to clean every room at the exact same time…they could have prioritized the guest experience for one hour!
