Wonderful hotel for my family during vacation. Very comfortable for the week long stay and the amenities were great. Very close to the beach.

My family loved the jotel

Great property right on the beach. Traveled with 4 kids ages 3 to 13 with my husband. Had room 307 which had a pullout couch that accommodated our family of 6, also looked out to the beach and right below was the pool! Easy walk to the beach, pizza place just down the street walkable. Island donuts right next door but didn’t need to go since this place has an awesome hot breakfast. Pool was clean w a working hot tub. Quiet and quick elevators, granted we stayed here in the middle of the week. Friendly staff, easy parking. I don’t travel very often without my husband but this place would definitely be a place I can see bringing our 4 kids on a weekend by myself. Will likely stay here again. Beach access in the back is “closed” due to hurricane damage but hopefully will be fixed soon. Either way, still walkable. Cold ac, great blackout curtains. Fairly comfy beds. Plenty of fluffy pillows. Snack bar at front desk was nice to purchase last minute beverages and snacks in the middle of the night (pay premium tho). Felt safe the entire time there which is a big plus for families w little ones. Glad we picked this place!

I woke up just after 1 AM to a string smell of sewage. When it didn’t abate after an hour, I called the front desk. The attendant came to the room to inspect and said he didn’t really smell anything and I was stunned! But he gave me a can of Febreeze and said he’ll make a note of it for maintenance when they arrive for the morning shift. Said there were no rooms available to move me and my two children. So I laid there awake the rest of the night because I wasn’t sure if there was a methane leak, a/c malfunction or something else but it was not a comfortable feeling. It eventually subsided around 5:30 AM and I was nauseous by then. At checkout, I asked to speak with the manager but the desk clerk said she was "at the back of the property" and not available. She gave me the manager’s business card to call. I called and left a message explaining the situation but have not yet received a call back.

The staff was amazing!! Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is a hidden gem because you wouldn't expect to have this type of oceanfront access to the beach. The view was amazing and just being steps away from the beach was the icing on the cake. The breakfast was also delicious and my family and I just enjoyed our stay overall. If we are in town again we are STAYING here!!!

The hotel had a great location. Reserved a room with a beach view and got a room with a view of the pool and a dune. Could hear every footstep of the family with kids upstairs. All the doors were swelled so everyone had to slam them to get them to close....not so great all night...even the sliding doors to the patios were noisy and we heard people going in and out all night. Absolutely no cell phone reception though the wifi was acceptable. And when I tried using the printer in the lobby to print our boarding passes it was out of order. When I asked for help they just put a sign on it. The towels for the pool were the size of hand towels. I think if I came to St. Augustine again I would stay at the new hotel down the street.

Great place and in the lower price rate. Nice and quiet place for couples and kids. I would go here again.

This is the only place that my family and I stay at when we visit St. Augustine.
