We loved that we could walk to the beach and to lots of dinning options. We didn’t like our room being close to the elevators it was very loud and woke up our kids.

This Hotel was great! Our family had gotten off a Christmas cruise in Miami on New Years Eve and this was our 1st stop on our way home. The only thing was the had marked off the hotel parking lot so the public couldn't park on their property for the NYE fireworks show. We had to park else where BUT the Hotel restaurant customers COULD park on the hotel property. Whether they were staying for the fireworks or just Diner. This wasn't customer friendly for hotel guest!

The property was nice. The room had a bug jetted tub which was a hit with the kids. The restaurant in the hotel was nice. We did not use many amenities such as pool , gym etc so I don’t know about those. The staff was friendly but we had only had them in our room to change sheets etc one time during our whole 4 night stay which was not nice.

I have stayed at at least 20 hotels near St. Augustine. For the rate paid, this was one of the best values we have received for a family stay. If you read the old reviews (from 2 years ago), they might scare you off. But clearly the new management has made those old issues a thing of the past. Great stay. Clean room. Easy drive to both the lighthouse, Anastasia State Park and also Old Town. Awesome beach hotel for families.

Very nice property with great ocean views and large rooms. We had a room with a jetted tub and thoroughly enjoyed it. Desk staff was very helpful in suggesting dinking spots. Only negative was that there was no coffee privided in lobby. Packets were available for room units, yet would have preferred that better coffee be available. Otherwise great & will reccomemd to friends & family.

My wife and I took our two children (14 &9) here for two nights during fall break (as part of a larger trip from Oklahoma), the hotel was beautiful. It was located just one minute (walking) from the beach. The area was extremely quiet, the hotel room was huge, with comfortable beds, it had a nice jetted tub in the bedroom portionand a gigantic shower in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant smelled amazing (we didn’t eat there though), it was only a few hundred feet or so from a local souvenir shop, and about a five minute walk from an Oyster bar that was open until 2am (it was pretty much just a bar at night with no kids). The beach was beautiful, the water wasn’t too cold (though a bit chilly being October), and we spent several hours there. We used the hot tub by the pool to warm up after the beach. The only negative was the pool was not heated, being October it was too cold to comfortably, the hot tub jets would not turn on (though it was hot) when we turned the timer. We would love to stay here again, the free parking was a nice bonus, a lot of other hotels charged an arm and a leg to park at. We will happily come back and spend an entire week here in the future.

The staff was amazing, going above and beyond. The rooms are quaint and quiet. The pool was well maintained. We did not have a car. There were many fantastic restaurants that were walkable. (However, no markets for fruit, etc.) Downside #1 - soft water. Even after rinsing I felt as though I still had soap on me which I couldn't wash off. Downside #2 - kids rule the pool. Now, this isn't entirely the hotel's fault. The kids run amok jumping, running, splashing, screaming-mostly unattended, even in the hot tub. The hotel really needs a presence at the pool area or at least a rope across to divide by age.
