Courtyard by Marriott St. Augustine Beach

Excellent location, parking is plenty. The walk to the beach was quick, and an ice cream shop across the street was nice for late night hangouts with the kids (9 & 11). There are restaurants that are three blocks over in each direction and everything is walkable. The hotel is in a quieter section of beach ave, but that’s what I prefer. If you’re looking to be near the public beach parking and people, you’d be better off being further north, near embassy suites. We have a Tesla and there are two shareable plugs (total 4) but they are ChargePoint and it’s not free. For the price, the hotel is excellent for its location, access to food/ entertainment/ beach. The staff is pleasant and always available.

It was 1 block from the beach. The pool was adequate, towels were available for guests. My Grandchildren had a good time and loved being so close to the beach.

The hotel is close to the beach. Nice hotel, excellent for family trips. Staff members could be more friendly and not act like you bother them if you have questions.

When my husband & I arrive to check in, I asked the receptionist did they honor the government discount. I was told no and that I had to apply for the discount online. Once we got to our room everything seem to be okay and looked clean “wishful thinking !” The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain the water, the chair look like I had a room full kids it. There was crumbs of food all the chair. Raisin, popcorn, hair pins etc underneath the seat in the chair. The light switch had dirty hand prints on them. Thank god I travel with clorox wipes. The bed felt like I was sleeping on rocks and the pillows was as flat as ever. There was mold at the bottom of the shower door. Most of all staff was nice and friendly. Also at the end of our stay they finally honored the government discount. So that was nice. Overall cleaniness was horrible!

Well overall, I am disappointed with our stay. Took my kids and my mother to st Augustine for the first time and unfortunately, we had nothing but problems upon arrival. Check in was great, except for the fact that once be got to our room, we were obviously given a dirty room, and we noticed we had dirty sheets and pillow cases. Went down to discuss it with the front desk and they gave us new clean pillows, went back to the room and noticed that the shower handle was lose and had to go back to the office, at that point they offered a room transfer at 1am after the fact that my kids were already in bed. I don't usually complain but this is a first for me. We spent a lot of money, to be given a dirty room. Customer service could have been better with trying to help solve the problem Earlier on. Very disappointed in our stay. It put a damper on our last family vacation before school starts.

The bistro ladies were not pleasant and would never cook or prepare anything if we hot there at 8:30pm when they are open until 9:30pm and some nights 10pm. They never smiled and would not great you as you came up. We had a lot of family there and they all were treated the same way. The front desk never had any at the desk and we had to wait for someone to come from the back offices. The first young lady that checked us in was great but, down hill after that. Stayed Tuesday-Sunday.
