Have stayed here before. On this trip I liked everything except for the height of the toilet in the bathroom. It was designed for a very short person or a very small child. This did not occur on previous visit.

Our room had a great mattress, bathroom and size for a King Bed. The artwork throughout this property makes it so enjoyable to walk thru whether on your floor or even using a stairwell to the Lobby. Having a starbucks in the lobby was a bonus. Didn't care for the pool since it was 3.5" so kind of an oversized kids pool. Jacuzzi and work out room was solid.

Casa Monica is architecturally very lovely and the lobby has interesting art to peruse. The connected fine art gallery is of the highest caliber. Staff throughout the property were nice, respectful, helpful and pleasant making it feel like, as my grandchildren referred to it while we were there, home. Centrally located for convenience for what we wanted to see and do. Two things that disappointed; I could find no beverage dispensing machines on any of the floors and no refrigerator in the room. I saw a mini-refrigerator on a stand outside one of the rooms, in the hallway, so perhaps I could have requested one. But should I really have to.

My wife and I wanted babymoon getaway. The property and staff were great. Location can’t be beat. Paredk the car and never drove the rest of the stay. The restaurant was divine for breakfast. Would recommend to others and would stay again.
