Edgewater Inn

We loved our visit to the Edgewater Inn. The view from our room was spectacular looking out at the harbor and Lions Bridge. The room was spacious and easily accommodated our family. It was the hospitality of staff and the warm and welcoming perks that won our hearts. The wine and apps happy hour was terrific with an assortment of cheese, meats, dips and crackers. The breakfast egg, meat, and cheese casserole accompanied by fruit and your choice of bread, muffins, or bagels was the perfect breakfast. The feel and service of the hotel was on par with a Bed and Breakfast model. We definitely will stay here again when visiting St Augustine!

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. We were able to get the most requested 2nd floor room and the view did not disappoint. You had a perfect view of the lights from Night of Lights and the sound of the water made it super relaxing. The room was small but comfortable (ask for extra towels because the shower does spray) and the bed is perfect after a long day of exploring. Now for the BEST PART, our hostess Mrs. Sarah was our Christmas Angel. She made sure that she had a nice welcome party and made it feel like we were part of a family and not just another paying guest. We were excited to see her every night and made a point to be back at 5pm to do so. She was more than accommodating and made sure that we were having a great time and also gave us ideas on what we could do next. If you are able to book the Edgewater Inn and are lucky enough to see Mrs. Sarah you should consider yourself blessed!

A hidden gem! So clean, staff was so friendly, breakfast was delicious, made on the spot (I swear the best eggs I’ve ever had)! Even conversing with other guests and staff at breakfast felt like we were all one group of friends and family. And the views from every room were just Phenomenal. Driving away I was booking my next visit- can’t wait to come back!

I had not stayed in St. Augustine since I was a kid, and that was here at Edgewater. It was great then and now. Rick made us feel perfectly at home, and his breakfast goodies were as good as it gets.
