Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn

We spent three nights at this hotel. It is located one block from the ocean which allows for easy access. The swimming pool is small but comfortable. Our family enjoyed the biscuits and gravy for breakfast but it was not available each day. The food/dining area is small and crowded. I recommend this hotel expand their dining area.

Last year i stayed here for a week and loved it thats why i decided to stay here again for another week with my family on vacation. But I wont be staying here ever again. I dont know if this place is under new management or what but the property has definitely gone down. It doesnt state on the hotel details that they NOW charge $5.00 every night just to park in the parking lot. Last year there wasnt a parking fee. And lets not talk about the guy who checked me in. I dont know if he was the manager or what but this guy is not very friendly or personable. Doesnt even greet customers when they are checking in and wont even speak to you or say hello when hes walking past you unless you speak to him first. It makes you feel uncomfortable when the hotel staff isnt even friendly. Hes the #2 reason i wont be back ever again. The room smelled strong of something which i couldt figure out if it was vinegar or some kind of cleaning solution. Behind the bathroom door looks like it was still under construction, the door was filthy and the trim wasnt even painted. The breakfast last year was wonderful. This time around the breakfast was horrible. Even the juice machine was broken so they put out bottles of juice which were gone quickly and not replaced and the waffle machine wouldn't work right and kept buring the waffles. After 2 days of gross breakfast we gave up. I will never stay here again. We were so disappointed in the hotel and the experience this time around.

It’s was a good stay. Clean. Safe. Updated. Quick trip with my kid had a good time. However the pool heater needs to go on. That was something my kid wanted to do since the ocean was cold but the pool was equally as cold.

Great place and so close to the beach! Just crossed the street and we were there in 5 minutes. Very convenient. Restaurants on the same side as hotel and easy to walk to. Many choices as well. Hotel is nice and clean. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was nice and better than a boring continental breakfast like most others offer. Great place for families. Highly recommended. We’ll be staying here again.

I am very impressed with this hotel. Very clean, fogless mirrors, spacious room and bathroom. Great breakfast. I like it so much that I booked two rooms for when my family comes to the area to visit Easter week.

First, I would like to say that the manager, James was wonderful! Very polite and accommodating. I had a last-minute family situation and needed to check out early, and he was extremely understanding, and I was not charged for the extra nights for leaving early. The room was clean and large. The hotel was right across the street from the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Would stay again!

This hotel has everything you want in a hotel at SA Beach for a great price and is now our family’s “go to” hotel for our visits. The grounds and room are lovely. Breakfast includes yogurt parfaits, eggs, sausage, waffles, and all the other expected items. It is as good (or better) than Hampton Inn for a much lower price. It is directly across the street and one short block to the beach access. Cone heads ice cream is kitty corner.

We had a wonderful stay, we stayed in a suite, we have 2 queen beds and a king bed, great for 4 adults and 3 young kids. Spacious and nice living room and kitchen space. Breakfast was not so great, bery linited choices but staff are friendly and helpful.

This was a pretty wonderful choice for our family. We loved the ease of the pool, breakfast and parking. Distance to the beach was also wonderful. There needs to be some sort of mat for each room however since the floors are hardwood. It was tough to not have water and sand everywhere after any trip to the pool or beach or use of shower. Towel racks would really help cut down towel wash waste. Never been to a hotel without towel racks. We did have one issue with a miscommunication regarding the cleaning service but Wendy really went out of her way to rectify it. She was easy to talk to, sweet and very helpful. Overall it was a great trip. Thank you!

Check it was very smooth and easy, and the service was friendly. The hotel sits about two blocks away from the beach so location was amazing. We went to the pool several times and it was always clean. The breakfast was average ( my kids loved it). Overall really good, and would book again.
