Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

Great hotel close to lots of shopping and the Gulf. This is a favorite of my family’s to stay at with a great pool view of the Gulf.

We love the Hyatt -Clearwater Beach. This is our 2nd stay there. 1) It’s centered on the boardwalk, near shops & restaurants. 2) All the employees are welcoming & responsive (both times). 3) Beds are comfy with plenty of pillows! 🙌 4) We had the 2 bedroom w/ a kitchen. I do wish there were a few more dishes, but maybe they had disappeared from guests taking them. We love having a kitchen on trips. We get a food delivery from Whole Foods or available food place for clean eating. There is a game room (Air hockey & other games. for kids & they do have movie days (especially when it’s storming.). We didn’t use the rooms this time. Would love a pool table. There’s a Starbucks/deli on main level (& Starbucks across street & organic coffee down the street. table! We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurants , but many did. The main restaurant also has a big breakfast buffet (surcharge) There’s another restaurant, as well. We enjoyed our stay & Clearwater Beach.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is clean, smells wonderful, staff is super friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located to many attractions and dining options along a quieter stretch of the main street. You don't even need a vehicle, you could walk or uber everywhere you want to go. We love the pool overlooking the ocean. The roof-top terrace with jacuzzi has breath taking views. Previously, we went as a couple and this time we had our 2 year old along with us. Both times were amazing. There were activities for kids everyday at the hotel, a game room, etc. Perfect vacation. Don't hesitate on booking this hotel!

The Resort was gorgeous, clean, amazing staff, plenty of things to work to a lot of fun for children for sure we had a beautiful vacation and was so grateful we stayed at your hotel. Excellent restaurants both in your hotel and very close to the hotel. We felt safe everything was right there. The pool activities for the children were so amazing and absolutely hundred percent perfect staycation in Clearwater. I cannot wait to come back.

We loved our stay. Staff were friendly and always around to help. The pool was a little small for this size hotel, but the bar and restaurant were next to it was great. They had kids activities and toys at the pool and in the lobby. The market with quick snacks and Starbucks was also an added bonus. The room size was large, clean and updated. And it was so nice to have a full kitchen with dishes and a dishwasher. Onsite laundry too! Biggest downfall of our stay was there was a bar across the street that had super loud music every night until midnight!

My family and I were very excited to stay at the Hyatt. Typically we go to the less expensive motels when we go on vacation. This time we went to a resort to have the experience. Big mistake!! It took over an hour and a half to get checked in in the lobby. That was 85° or hotter. I asked for a discount since my family had to wait that long to get into our room. They said they would give me $100 off of our final bill. The week itself was very nice. The area is excellent. The room was very nice. The staff was incompetent and some didn’t even speak English. On the last day at check out, I noticed extra charges on my invoice. I talked to the clerk about it, and he took those charges off and I signed the final bill and left. The next day I noticed those charges were back on my final bill and my credit card was charged $130 more than it should have been. I tried calling the accounting department to get this taken care of and three times that I called all three times I got disconnected after waiting for 15 minutes. We will never stay at a Hyatt hotel ever again. I hope whoever reads these reviews decides against staying there. Everything , and I mean everything, is over priced and then they add extra charges after you leave. I don’t mind paying for things I receive, but I really hate being taking advantage of.

Bar staff went above and beyond to open up the onsite store at 11pm because my child needed Benadryl for an allergic reaction.

The stay was relaxing and fun! The room was satious and comfortable for the kids and us. Our room was cleaned well daily. The restaurants inside the hotel were delicious and there are a ton of restaurants and shops around the area to walk to. It was pricey with the fees but if you are going on vacation, just enjoy yourself. Be prepared to be charged $400-$600 on top of your original amount charged for parking and beach chair rentals.

The staff was amazing, there was a delay checking into our room but the manager was very accommodating and made up for the inconvenience, housekeeping and valet were also wonderful. I would definitely stay again having the fridge and microwave in the room was very convenient and the reason why I chose the property and it did not disappoint. I would consider this property to be family friendly.
